Larissa's Pov

I saw a small hint of excitement in Morticias eyes as I stared deeper into them.

"I think I'll have to take you up on your offer to explore this place."

"I wonder why."

"Do you?"

"Yes"

"We can talk about it over a meal."

I slowly raised my left eyebrow before shaking off the ill feeling in my stomach. She must've not noticed my face since she simply turned around and walked out of the door. I sighed quietly and left my nevermore jacket sat on my bed before beginning to follow Morticia. I was stopped by a loud and quick strange tapping sound on the ground, I looked down to see a severed hand on the floor. Anybody else would've freaked out and probably stepped on it like a bug, but I grabbed it and walked out anyways. I assumed it must be Morticias, maybe it's her pet.

"So..I guess my parents sent somebody to spy on me."

"Is it your pet?" The hand went flat before crawling up into a middle finger.

"He's sensitive. His name is Thing, he's been in the family for a few decades"

"Oh. Well, he's a strange thing." I handed the..hand..over to Morticia before squirting hand sanitizer on my hands.

"Don't worry, you won't get a disease."

"That's not what I'm worried about."

"Right, anyways, what is there to do here when there are no classes?"

"Dining hall is open, fencing, archery, art room, sculpting, and.. local therapy is in the town."

"Let's go to the town then, after food. I'm starved."

"Sure, we can just ask the principal first."

"Ask for what?" She gave me a weird look, as if she didn't care about asking anybody anything.

"We have to ask to go into town. Did you want to go without permission?"

"To hell with that. I could sneak out of here within a minute."

"I think I'll still ask for myself." she waited for me to begin leading her to the dining hall.

"So, what's there to know about the people here?"

"Lots of gossipers. Gossip about you, to be exact. Those guys over there are the stoners." I pointed to Ajax and the rest of his weird friends. One of them gave me a look I didn't like.

"They're like Medusa basically."

"I see."

"Don't look them in the eyes. Those are the fangs over there" I directed my head over to Yoko and the other vampires who had glasses on their faces and drinks in their hands.

"Mhm"

"Those are the furs." There was a group of werewolves, some transformed, some not, howling loudly on the table. "It gets VERY loud on full moons."
