Hybrids (DekuBaku)

Chapter 11

No one's POV
Everyone was sat at the table, enjoying breakfast. Aizawa was scrolling through his phone as he drank his coffee and Mitsuki was enjoying her waffles just like the kids. Masaru had then arrived home and said hello to everyone before switching the TV on. It went straight onto a news channel
TV: -last night, there was a brutal attack. A man who was formerly known as the leader of the hidden Yakuza group, Shie Hassaikai, was found dead earlier this morning-
Everyone's attention was turned to the TV now
TV: -no one knows what happened.. but judging by how the man was seen with parts of his body missing, this could be the work of a villain with a mutant quirk-
Aizawa: it was a hybrid...
Everyone then turned to Aizawa
Aizawa: a hybrid did that.. he or she or they were protecting something, or someone, from this man. And in result, lost control of their hybrid and tore him apart.
Deku: but... who?
Aizawa: that's what we need to find out. I know it can't be Iida because i still have yet to help him discover his and wake it up. Right now, his is dormant.
Denki: i know Kirishima has one. It's snuck a couple words to mine every now and then without him knowing. I also have a feeling that we have one more Meridian too. But I'm not sure who it could be.
Mitsuki: you all need to go and search. I know that forest that they've just showed on where the body was.. its just a couple miles east from this house. Go to the crime scene, search for any traces of the hybrid and go from there
They all nod before standing up and start getting ready to leave. Once they head left the house, they start heading East.

20 minutes later

They arrived at the spot where the Hassaikai boss was found dead. Hitoshi changed into his half Kitsune form and started to smell around. All he could smell was the Boss' blood.. however, there was a faint smell of the other hybrid. He couldn't place what kind of hybrid it was exactly. Denki searched through the entire scene as everyone else stayed on guard for anyone coming their way
Denki: i got something!
Hitoshi went over to him and looked to see long brown feathers. It looked like they came from a big pair of wings.
Deku: what could it be? The shape of this feather is kind of making me thing of a bird
Aizawa: maybe.. but look at the footprints
Everyone then looked to where Aizawa was pointing to see prints from paws and talons
Deku: its just getting more and more complicated by the second..
Then there was a sudden coughing sound in the distance. They all looked at each other before they scurried to make their way to the source of the sound.
They reached to see a little girl with white hair, red eyes and a horn on the right side of her head. She was looking up at them in fear
??: please... he was trying to hurt me.. my dad killed him to save me..!
A giant pair of brown wings unfolded from behind them all without them noticing.
??: dad!!
Then they looked behind them to see the young leader of the Shie Hassaikai, Kai Chisaki.
Kai: get. Away! From HER!!
He swung a clawed hand at them but they all dodged. Kai looked tired so he was very weak in his attacks. But then his entire body suddenly changed into his hybrid. He let out a loud roar at. Them all before Hitoshi suddenly changed into his purple Kitsune form. He rubbed his two tails together as he charged at the bird-like creature. Chisaki got ready to grab him by the teeth. But then 'Toshi jumped over him and smacked his tails down on his back after it charged with electricity from the Kitsune. Chisaki roared in pain before he collapsed to the floor in a heap. He was already exhausted.. this just put him to sleep.
Hitoshi changed back into his human form, as did Chisaki after collapsing. Eri whimpered in fear. Deku was quick to try and calm her down, speaking softly as he told her they weren't going to hurt her. It took time but it worked. Aizawa picked Chisaki up and they all took him back to the Bakugou house

When they arrive..

Mitsuki was quick to open the door after seeing them coming to it with an unconscious Chisaki in Aizawa's arms. Once they were all inside the house, Mitsuki checked the surrounding neighbourhood they were in before closing the door and locking. Aizawa placed the unconscious, and half naked, Chisaki on their couch. Masaru grabbed a blanket and placed it over him before rushing off to grab him some new clothes.
Mitsuki: is that him? The hybrid from the attack?
They all nod. Mitsuki looked at the little girl in Deku's arms.
Mitsuki: who's she?
Aizawa: the girl he was protecting from the Hassaikai leader.
Mitsuki: i see... what's your name sweetheart?
She asked her. Eri hesitated but looked out from Midoriya's arm
Eri: E-Eri....
Mitsuki: pretty name. Nice to meet you, Eri. Im Mitsuki Bakugou. These people around you are hybrids just like your father. We're trying to find as many hybrids that currently exist in order to protect from people that hunt them.
Eri wasn't sure how to take that information but she just nodded anyway. Katsuki took Eri from Deku and took her upstairs to the bathroom to run her a warm bath to get her all cleaned up before going to find his old clothes from when he was her age. Aizawa decided to grab a chair and keep an eye on Chisaki while everyone else did their own thing.

Katsuki's POV
Hatsu: -Katsuki.. I fear another hybrid will lose control by tomorrow... this one is the Iida kid your teacher was talking about-
Me: -four eyes? What is his Hybrid exactly? Do you know?-
Hatsu: -his hybrid is a Sky Dragon.. the fastest dragon of all-
Me: -alright... I'll let Aizawa know later. Right now, we need to focus on this child. Poor girl is scared to death...-
Hatsu: -of course.-

Just like I said, I focused on taking care of Eri. This girl looks like she has gone through a lot more than what any child should have to go through.. especially at 6. If this Chisaki guy really was protecting her.. then he better do a good fucking job at healing her. Mentally, emotionally AND physically.
