Hybrids (DekuBaku)

Chapter 12

No one's POV
Katsuki never did tell Aizawa what Hatsu told him last night. And Hatsu wasn't there to remind him since he went dormant in order to rest. So neither were aware that Iida was currently in pain at his desk as he felt like something was trying to break out. But, he mustered up what strength he could to keep himself in control until the end of the day.

End of school

Aizawa: IIDA!!!
Everyone jumped at the sound of their teacher's booming voice yelling for the class rep. And because of that, they had all noticed that Iida was nowhere in sight. Which was unusual for him since he was always with them in order to make sure none of them did something crazy. Aizawa stepped into the common room
Aizawa: has anyone seen Iida? I need to talk to im but I can't find him anywhere!
Everyone shakes their heads. Then Katsuki remembered
Katsuki: oh shit...
He whispered to himself. He quickly jogged over to his teacher
Katsuki: I'll help find him
Then the pair walked out with Izuku and Denki following close behind.
Aizawa: wanna explain?
Katsuki: i completely forgot to tell you because i was focused on taking care of Eri.. but Hatsu told me that Iida's dragon was going to be coming out today and take control for a while. So, if we can find him in time, we're gonna have to stop a Sky dragon from rampaging around the entire city.
Denki: Sky dragon!? They're the fastest dragons out of all dragons!
Katsuki nods. Aizawa groans
Aizawa: he must've been feeling like something was trying to break out all day if that's the case.. he did seem distracted all day today
Izuku: yeah i noticed that too
Denki: if that's the case, we better get the fuck out of here! I know Sky Dragons like high cliffs or Mountains so im gonna look around those areas!
Aizawa: alright then. Midoriya, Bakugou, you two stick together and search the streets. I'll search around wooded areas. Go!
They all ran outside of the school and went their seperate ways. Hitoshi was alerted by his Kitsune about the situation and quickly scrambled out of his dorm room to help them. And kirishima.. well, safe to say that he knew about Katsuki, Aizawa and Denki but not Hitoshi. So he knew it was a hybrid problem. Only this time, he decided to get up and help. He slipped out of the common room without anyone noticing and made his way outside towards the Docked Beach.

15 minutes later...

Everyone regrouped outside of UA with no luck of finding Iida
Denki: no sign of him in the cliff or mountain areas. Not even a few loose scales!
Katsuki: me and Deku got noting from the streets
Aizawa: and i got nothing from the wooded areas.. where the hell could be be?
As if on queue, a loud alien-like roar had sounded out from the docked beach. Everyone looked at each other before zooming off towards the sound
Aizawa: that was definitely Iida's dragon!
Denki: he sounds in distress!!
Katsuki: that's because he is!
Aizawa: hunters...
Just from that word alone, they all allowed their hybrids to take control of their speed and sped up. Izuku activated one for all to use full cowling to catch up. Hitoshi had suddenly appeared next to them out of nowhere but they weren't complaining. When they arrived to the beach, they saw a chained up Sky Dragon on a boat with hunters surrounding him with spears, harpoon guns and guns with scale-piercing bullets. Denki was quick to rush into the water with no shirt on so he could shift into his hybrid. Everyone jumped up on to the boat just as it was leaving the dock. The hunters and hybrids began to fight.
Denki had changed into his form quicker than usual as this was an emergency. He knocked the boat, causing some hunters to either go overboard or fall on their asses. Not long after that, Denki grabbed a hold of the underneath of the boat and started to shake it a bit. Whilst the hunters were trying to keep their balance, Aizawa, Katsuki and Shinsou started to make way towards Iida. Just as they reached him, the dragon began to speak
Iida: no... not me... one other.. down below..
And with that, Aizawa completely shifted into his Lynx cat form. Only this time, he wasn't the same size as your average Lynx. He was bigger. Much MUCH bigger!
Aizawa walked over to the door that lead to below deck of the boat just as Denki had wrapped his tail around one end of the boat. He was yanking hunters off the boat and in to the water while he was keeping the water around him electrified, making 10x more deadly, and while Izuku was punching down any hunters that went after Katsuki and Shinsou. Aizawa used his jaw strength to rip the door of its hinges before throwing it away and making his way down. When he arrived to the cage that contained the last hybrid they would be looking for, he was shocked to see that it was none other than.. Tomura Shigaraki
The villain had looked up when he saw giant cat shadow on the wall then looked behind him to see the Lynx, who he didn't know was Eraserhead.
Aizawa: Shigaraki?
But when he spoke, he quickly figured it out
Shigaraki: Eraserhead?
The boat shook a bit as Denki continued attacking while the Kitsune were working on removing Iida's chains. Aizawa had returned from below deck with a weak Shigaraki on his back
Izuku: Shigaraki!?
Denki suddenly let out a roar of pain as a harpoon had been shot into his shoulder. His tail had unwrapped the boat as he fell back into the water, his electrification no longer activated. Hunters, that had fallen over, got back up on their feet and started charging towards the Kitsunes, Lynx and Deku. But before they could reach them, i black and red figure zoomed down and snatched a hunter up and chuck him into the trees. A sickening crunch had sounded out when the hunter landed. Everyone got a good look at the, now hovering, creature. He looked like a wolf with black and red fur, however, the red looked dyed, spikes down his back and horns behind his ears and dragon wings on his shoulder blades.
Izuku: a Zburator..
Aizawa: a what??
Izuku: Zburator! Dragon and wolf hybrid!
Denki had risen back from underwater, groaning in pain. He saw what was going on and quickly reactivated his electrification. The Zburator zoomed back down and snatched up another hunter and chucked them into the electrified water. The last three remaining hunters dropped their weapons and started to back away. The Zburator landed in front of the Land hybrids and shifted into his human form
Katsuki: SHITTY HAIR!!?
Kirishima stood up on his legs then activated his hardening and began to charge for the last 3 hunters. They screamed and started running. But they didn't get far before Kirishima reached them and knocked them all out in 2 punches.
The fight was now over.

1 hour later..

Aizawa and the Kitsunes were back in human forms, as was Iida. Who was now unconscious in Kirishima's arms.
Everyone had reached the Bakugou house with the 3 new hybrids in the group and knocked on the door. Mitsuki quickly answered it and ushered them inside. She looked around outside before shutting the door and locking it with all three locks. Kirishima put Iida down on their couch after Masaru got up and removed the pillows. He then put two pillows back but underneath Iida's head. Aizawa had placed Shigaraki on a chair at the kitchen counter to get him a drink of water and some food.
Mitsuki: i take it his dragon decided to manifest unexpectedly?
Everyone nodded. The sound of someone coming down the stairs got everyone's attention. They looked to see Overhaul coming down the steps in spare clothes that Masaru had lended him. He stopped in his tracks when he saw everyone looking at him and got nervous.
Kai: uh... hope im not interrupting anything...?
Mitsuki shakes her head
Mitsuki: you're fine, hon! Everyone's just on edge.
Aizawa: we just came out of a fight with Hybrid hunters so we're.. a little paranoid...
Kai nods
Kai: understandable..
Mitsuki: is Eri okay?
Kai: yeah, i just put her to bed. Gonna make her a bottle of something to drink in case she wakes up with a thirst
Mitsuki: that's fine! Kitchen is just that way!
Kai bows his head gratefully then makes way towards the kitchen
Aizawa: when did he wake up?
Mitsuki: about 2 hours after Katsuki left for school. Eri was very happy to see him awake, bless her little heart.. she was worried about him
Izuku: i can understand why.. he saved her form abuse by her own grandfather. If it were me in her situation, i would also be worried if my saviour didn't make it
Mitsuki: exactly.
Everyone decided to relax for the next hour before Kirishima, Shinsou, Denki and Aizawa left to go back to UA. Mitsuki showed Shigaraki to the other spare bedroom the house had so he could lay down and rest. Katsuki and Izuku decided to stay the night to be there for Iida, who was still unconscious.

Katsuki and Izuku got ready to settle down for the night. Even though there was now a guest bedroom free, Izuku still didn't want to sleep by himself. So he opted to sleeping on Katsuki's floor again, despite his back problem.
As it was coming up to midnight, Katsuki could sense that Izuku wasn't asleep yet because he was on the floor. But Izuku refused to say anything because he didn't want to be a burden, nor did he want to be alone.
Katsuki: Deku, if you want to sleep up here then you can
Deku: i just dont want you to be uncomfortable-
Katsuki: right now, the only one that's uncomfortable here is you, Deku. And i know you wont go into a room by yourself whilst you're here so just shut up and get up here
Deku said nothing more and wasted no time into to getting into Katsuki's bed with him.
Katsuki: there. Now go to sleep. I can't sleep unless you do.
Deku nods then settles down and closes his eyes
After 10 minutes, Deku was lightly snoring. Katsuki turned around to look at him to see he was indeed asleep. Katsuki, without knowing what came over him, leaned over and gave Deku a kiss on the cheek.
Then Katsuki had finally drifted off to sleep while Deku had been awoken by the kiss, to which he placed a hand upon the spot on his cheek that Kat had kissed. He was blushing bright red but smiled softly before drifting back off to sleep

I know i know! How could i just come back to posting like this after so long? 😃 college gave me writer's block 😭 im sorry, okay?

Since this book is supposed to be a DekuBaku, i figured i should start putting some cute scenes in here between the two. So enjoy that!
