Summer Love

Chapter Five

Eleanor's P.O.V. 

I was sitting on the couch, playing Flow when Louis walked in.

"Hey El." 

"Hey Lou."

"Would you like to go on our date tonight?" he asked.

"Sure," I replied.

"Okay, we will leave at six. It's not anything super fancy, so you can just dress casually," he said.

 "Okay, I'll be in my room."

 "Doing what?"

"Getting ready."

"For fox hours?"

"Girls take longer than guys," I said and went into my room.

I called Danielle.

"Hello?" she said.

"Hey, Dani, can you come over? Louis and I have a date tonight," I asked.

"Sure I'll be there in a few. Can Liam come?"

"Sure, see you then."

"Okay, bye," she said and I hung up.

When Danielle got to the flat, she came into my room.

"Hey!" she said.

"Hey!" I replied. "So what should I wear?"

"Leave it all to me," she said. She went into my closet, returning with black jeans and a black and white striped tank top.

I put on the outfit. Dani did my makeup and hair as well. About a half hour later she was done. I looked in the mirror. She curled my hair and put on the perfect amount of makeup.

"Thanks so much!" I said, hugging her.

"Wait for the finishing touch," she said and went back into my closet. She came out with a pair of silver heels. I put them on and grabbed a silver clutch. I put my phone and a little bit of money in. I looked at the clock and saw that it was 5:45.

Louis' P.O.V .

It was 5:45. We were leaving in 15 minutes. I had on tan chinos, a blue shirt and white TOMS. About 10 minutes later I knocked on Eleanor's door. When she opened the door I couldn't keep my eyes off of her. "You look beautiful," I said.

"Why thank you," she replied.

"Shall we?" I said and we went into the kitchen. Harry was there.

"Have fun, but remember, not too much fun," he said, smirking.

"Shut it," I said, and we left.

We got into the car that was taking us there.

"So, where are we going?" she asked.

"You'll find out soon," I replied.

"Louis," she whined, holing out the "i" sound.

"Eleanor," I retorted.

We rode for about 20 minutes until we arrived.

"So, we're going to the park," she said. We got out of the car.

"Follow me," I said, taking Eleanor's hand. We walked in the woods for a few minutes until we arrived at a little pond. There was a picnic blanket and a basket, just like I had planned.

"Louis this is so sweet," she said.

"It's nothing," I replied.

We sat down on the blanket and I opened the basket. I took out some pasta and we ate it. After we finished the pasta I took out the dessert, which was chocolate covered strawberries.

"Oh, chocolate covered strawberries!" she said. She took one and ate it. "They're so good!" We ate all of them. I packed up the empty containers.

"Ready to go?" I asked.

"Yes, I'm tired," she said.

We went back to the car and rode home. 

We went inside. Eleanor pulled me over to the couch and we sat down.

"Tonight was amazing," she said.

"Not as amazing as you," I said.

I leaned in and kissed her. Her lips tasted like chocolate. It was a sweet kiss. We broke apart.

"I think I'm gonna go to bed. Good night," she said.

"Good night," I said and gave her one last kiss on the cheek. She went to her room
