Jiah was born on December 29th, 2003 In Sydney, Australia, she was a very early baby but was very healthy and didn't have any health problems growing up.

Their mother "didn't want" any of them and left the house, MinHyun was later diagnosed with depression and unfortunately committed suicided.

At the time, Jiah was only 6 years old.
She has his necklace that she found in her drawer the next morning, it was a heart that a little picture of all three of them inside of the heart.

On her personal account, she has the date '12.19.2010' Written on her bio. That's the date of her fathers death, she was completely broken.

Her brother took full custody of her and took care of her as if she was his own child, Jiah started getting bullied as they found out who her mother was and somehow found out about her father later on.

In 2015, Jiah was a trainee in JYP Entertainment from January to September. She left because she missed home too much, she had gotten close with some TWICE members and knew other trainees from other company's.

Such as, Jisoo from BLACKPINK and YeonJun from TXT. At the time, Yeonjun was known as 'BigHit's Legendary Trainee.'

After she left, she went back home and was diagnosed with depression and an eating disorder.

A year later.

She did something that her father would've wanted her to do, she got back on her feet stronger than ever and told her brother she wanted to go back to Korea so she could train to be an Idol.

They left after her birthday and he encouraged her a lot, her brother helped her with her korean since she was 3 years old so she was fluent.

Her brother smiled at his small twin, since he was 29, he was at legal age.
The first company she tried out was for BigHit Entertainment, the home of BTS (방탄소년단).

In 2016, Jiah became a trainee in BigHit Entertainment.

On the first audition, she made it.
Her popularity as a trainee grew in around early 2017, she was performing at award shows, she was gaining a very huge fan base.

From 2017-2020, Jiah had become very well known in the kpop industry and had been performing at a lot of award shows.

In 2020, Bang Si-Hyuk told Jiah about I-LAND. She was very unsure about making the decision, being in a survival show with 22 other men.

She'd be the only female, how would netizens react to that??

The only thing they forgot to tell her was that there was gonna be five other females joining the survival show.

Last minute, she decided to join the survival show, I-LAND. Bang Si-Hyuk was indeed happy about her decision and didn't tell anyone about her, she was considered the "Secret Trainee".

Since it was last minute, Jiah had two days to learn the choreography for the song that was chosen, Hannah and DaYeon who had chose the song were having trouble with the high note almost changing their chosen song.

They gave Jiah Yuri's highnote part, Jiah felt pressured but knew that she could do it, she encouraged herself to learn everything and nonstop practice before the show aired.

BTS and JiHoon convinced and encouraged her to join the survival show, so if it weren't for them, she wouldn't have debuted.

When Areum was born, their mother just gave her to them. Since Areum was their baby sister, JiHoon took full custody of her.

Their mother didn't want to be apart of their life, they hated her for that.

November 30th, 2020. That was ENHYPEN's debut date, before going onto stage, Jiah looked at all eight of them and smiled.

Doing this for him.

Her father.

She made it, she wanted to hug her dad and wanted to hear him say that she did a great job.

She wanted his reassurance.

That same night, she dreamt of him. She woke up crying, she got to hug him and hear him speak to her.

As for her mother, she didn't 'not' want them. She just chose popularity over them, which could be considered as not wanting them.

But if she could turn back time and tell them she was staying, she would.

Her mother regretted everything that she did in 2004, she missed her babies.

She wanted to hug them and tell them that she's gonna stay forever, but they hate her too much.

She watched I-LAND, she watched ENHYPEN's debut stage. She was incredibly proud of her first daughter, she wanted to hold baby in her arms and congratulate her.

She watched Jisoo do it, she called Jisoo later on and thanked her for everything she has done for Jiah.

Jisoo was mad at her but said she'd do whatever she could to make the younger female happy, she told her it was no problem and told her about a lot about Jiah and how proud she was.

Jiah was one of the youngest, most successful kpop idols in history, at only 16 years old.

Jiah had received part of the moon from ENGENEs for her birthday and got a black card at the age of 17, there were a lot of times where she would cry herself to sleep.

She needed her parents, she had a so-called perfect life. A lot of netizens called her HYBE's princess, what they didn't know was her backstory.

She had a very sad backstory, a lot of her idol friends know about it.

They all kept her safe.
