17. A Furior Falling For the Enemy Great

OKAY I KNOW IT HAS BEEN A VERY VERY TIMES 10 LONG TIME...BUT ITS SPRING BREAK AND I PLAN TO WRITE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE....PROMISE :) HERES CHAPTER 17!

MINA POV

The rest of the week was weird. I mean Nick didn't stop to talk to me at all or sit down with the girls and me during lunch and for some reason it bothered me. I would look at him and smile but he would just turn his head. Is he still mad that I turned him down? Was I that harsh?

"Mi-Mi" Lidea was calling to me. "Hmm?" i answered. "What's wrong?" she asked tilting her head to the side with her eyebrows scrunched together. The other girls stopped their conversation to look at me too. If you haven't already guessed there aren't any secrets EVER between us. I sighed " I'll tell you guys later." They nodded and began where they left off in their conversation/. Everyone excpet for Lidea. She kept starring at me as if she were calculating something. I turned my head to look out the cafeteria window and at the rain. I loved the rain.

School finally ended and it was still raining. "Hey guys I'll catch up with you later" They nodded knowing what i'm going to do anyways. I put on my helmet and started riding. I ended up at a path at the start of the forest. I got off my bike and walked to the place where I can just let everything go. I looked around to make sure no one was following me and pulled aside the bush that covered my haven.

i took off my helmet letting the rain drench my hair. I looked up at the sky, eyes closed breathing everything in. Then like a rock in water i sank onto my knees hands on the ground head hanging crying.  Tears blending with raindrops. "Mom....Dad. Why'd you have to go. Why am I feeling this way? Help me please." i croaked.

i don't know how long I was there in the same position but I remember falling asleep thinking "The reason I love rain is because it would have been the best thing needed for when the wolves burnt down my house but it never was there" and here I am in its arms. I can feel my mother and father watching over me. I miss them. And with that last thought I fell into a dreamless sleep.
