As Artimus sleeps, his mind creates a dream world for him. It's full of life and light. Beautiful and colorful flowers, butterflies, and fungi were ever present. In here his subconscious thought he would love it, and he did! Artimus could see rolling hills and valley's, plains and waterfalls a plenty but there was something not quite right.
In the distance he noticed an unmoving cloud of extraordinary dark color. No sound came from it, yet streaks of lightning spew forth from it. Suddenly there was movement in a nearby bush. He focused on it intently to see what was there. A bunny had popped out and hopped away. When the creature left, a leaflet of some sort fell from the bush.
Artimus, weary of this place walks over and picks up the leaflet, he sees it's sealed by wax. A deep red wax, the emblem on the seal does not match any he's seen before. It's a sword crossed over an arrow surrounded by a ring of thorns. He's weary to open it, not knowing what it could be. He figured it could be a clue, it could be a spell, or could even be a note. Whatever it is he decides to put it away in his satchel.
"This place is amazing, a bit strange but I guess it's an acquired taste." He said strolling along. Walking past many a tree, bush, and grassy knoll he just soaks in everything he see's. "I wonder what the area holds?" He said looking at that dark cloud. Although he noticed that it had changed position now. It was closer than before and he had only walked a short distance. Strangely he felt exhausted and decided to lay down. Struggling to stay awake he finally drifts off.
"Morning sunshine!" Luna said as he groggily sat up. "Looks like sleeping beauty is finally up!" Markus joked. Magnus just stood there, not angry, not sad, not anything really. His gaze unyielding and precise. "Sorry if I overslept!" Said Artimus. "I was having such a strange dream." He said wondering if anyone cares to know. "Nobody really wants to hear an excuse Artimus." Luna said in a cold tone. "Alright let's get a move on people the kindom is less than a days walk now" Magnus said.
