The dark chamber that held Artimus prisoner was quiet, no noise but his own was heard. The dim colored sconces lined the outer wall but not a spec of light touched the floor. He started to wonder if there even is a floor outside of this cage.
Artimus started hearing what he thought was a tapping noise. He looked around the entire room but saw no one. He then thought to himself "Maybe I'm going crazy? Maybe I'm just hearing things?" The noise persisted and grew steadily louder. After a few minutes of this strange sound he started to hear voices. "Am I going mad?" He said to himself afraid his mind had been broken by some spell.
All of a sudden the wall to his left cracks and breaks open revealing small figures with picks and a dim blue lit lantern. Another small figure pushes that one aside and tosses out a handful of these pieces of glowing fungus in order to see the floor, and if there any traps. Artimus was stifled by what he is seeing and doesn't react.
The group of small figures of about four when counted quickly moved with haste towards Artimus and began to break him free. The ground started to rumble slightly and a red glow could be seen from far down the corridor. It was the King with a squad of his crimson knights. They finally freed Artimus and drug him back into the hole from which they bore forth taking the glowing fungus with them in order to cover their tracks.
The king was closer with each step, shaking the ground he walked on. As he drew closer to the prisoners chamber he sensed something Amis. He told his knights to run quickly to the chamber and encircle the prisoners cage. Finally after entering, the king sees an empty cage and what appears to be a small piece of glowing fungus. Angry the king picks up the fungus, looking at it, and with great hatred crushes it in his hand and yells "Dwarves!" He hastily walks to the entrance from where he came, his footfalls shaking the ground around him.
Artimus still in shock and being carried on the back of this stocky yet small individual, he begins to fade into a sleep like state. Only before finally succumbing to the state of sleep he hears one of them talk about this white haired huntress. His vision fades to black, and his body goes limp.
