𝐘/𝐍 𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐖𝐎 front pieces of her hair as she thought about today. she hated first days of school. people acting like they were happy even though everyone knew they weren't. teachers acting like they aren't miserable, having to deal with 30 kids no matter the age. not to mention her getting bullied every year.

"y/n! you ready?" enid shouted from across the room.

"yeah!" she adjusted her blazer before opening the bathroom door.

"ek! you look amazing! ajax will love that on you," she winked. ever since y/n had opened his little gift last night, enid hadn't shut up about him "liking her."

"enid, literally everyone has to wear this. it's the school uniform. and for the last time, he doesn't like me!" y/n exclaimed.

"whatever you say, but ajax doesn't spend his money on just anyone," she rolled her eyes before walking out of their dorm.

"hey, newbie," ajax caught up to her with a smile on his face.

"hey, snake boy," he melted at the nickname.

"can i see your schedule?" she nods and hands him the white paper.

"we have all the same classes except for 3, isn't that awesome?"

"yeah, at least i'll know someone," he smiled as he handed her the paper.

"you pick an extracurricular activity yet?" he asked.

"not yet, none of them really interest me," she replied.

"you should try fencing, all of our friends are in it. plus, i think it would be funny to see you try to beat me," she laughs.

"maybe i will. and i think it would be the other way around"

"i don't know, l/n. i am the best one on the team," she smirked.

"really? because i was told it was bianca," he blushed in embarrassment.

"a-anyway! want me to walk you to class? we don't have first together but the classrooms are right beside each other," she smiled at his attempt to change the subject.

"yeah, that would be nice," he smiled and took her hand in his own.

they had their second class together with ms. thornhill. before y/n could sit beside wednesday, ajax called her over.
