9) Doctors appointment

3rd POV

''This is gonna be a crazy video.'' Mumble Ty, as he is lazing on the couch, tired of todays work in the studio.

''What are you even doing, Ty-kun?'' Ask Yuzuki and give the teenager a cup of coffee. 

''We are making a vertical maze.'' Answer Emily at the kitchen, while fishing out some baked cookies out of the oven. ''We have planned with the crew for a long time, with a bunch of challenges to it, to built a vertical maze. It will be another play structure with turns and curves, that goes up and down. It will be so much fun.''

''What are these challenge, may I ask?'' Ask Kagie curious and snatch a cookie, only to flinch by the heat from it.

''Shoot the person behind the wall.'' Answer Ty right away and sit up again. He turn on the tv and then cast a video from his tablet. It is a previous video with the theme, where there is a tank shooting the balls, at a fake brick wall. ''It is one of our best video ever, so we are coming with yet another one. We are still a bit unsure of the others challenges, so I won't mention it.''

''Me and Ty are gonna be in them, along with two others. You guys may come by and watch us shoot at each other.'' Suggest Emily with a small laugh. ''We are gonna use a bow, that has cushion on the end which is different from your kind of arrows. There will also be a slingshot and balls, t-shirt cannon and a kids bow and arrow set.''

''When do you start?'' Ask Yuzuki and put the cooled down cookies at a plate.

''Tomorrow.'' Answer Emily and open the fridge. She takes out a bottle of milk, but then pause. ''Seems like we don't have enough meat for tonight. I will go out buy some more.''

''Please be quick.'' Call out Ty. Emily just said a quick sound and a pocket grocery bag. When she neared the main door, does she a specifik person. To avoid the others from noticing, won't Emily say anything and let Shingen and Masanobu finish talking, then 'split' up. Shingen follow Emily out and get to wear a coat with a large hoodie on, to cover his ears, and it is so long that it hides his tail as well. Emily help Shingen into her dark purple Jeep Wrangler, then get into the drivers seat and drive out of the driveway. The mansion is in a small neighborhood, but there is distance to the nearest house.

''Alright, time to visit the doctor.'' Hummed Emily and give Shingen a couraging smile.

''And there won't be any problem with... you know?'' Ask Shingen and mentioning towards his wolf appearance.

''Don't worry. I have talked it out with our doctor and he swore to keep it between us. He was a loyal friend to my adopted grandparents and has always taken care of us in need. I don't doubt his loyalty.'' Ensure Emily with a fond smile of the said doctor and drive through the slight busy streets. Shingen goes quite and take a look at the unfamiliar sight. Peoples walking down or driving in metal carriage without horses. Even the clothes are unfamiliar to him too. It is amazing to see a brand new world, or possible the furture. Emily take a quick look and noticed Shingen's fascination towards Yuzuki's home. But she then return to look at the road and drive in to a hospital parking lot. ''We are here. And the best part, we don't have to wait for hours. We just has to find his office.''

''Lead the way, Emily.'' Says Shingen and manage himself to take the seatbelt off and open the door. Emily just lead the way into the hospital and towards the reception.

''I have an appointment with doctor Bishop.'' Inform Emily in a low respectful voice. The receptionist nodded and type on the computer.

''Here has no one else, so please follow the white line to office 25.'' Explain the receptionist with a smile. Emily thanked her and start leading the way down the hallway. The two stays quite until they reach the office, but instead of knocking, do they sit in the small waiting area. Emily explain they have to wait until the doctor calls for them, that is a respectful system they have. Luckily it didn't take long before they were call in by an elderly doctor.

''Emily Thomsen, nice to see you again. How is are the other two, Ty Johnson and Yuzuki Ryota?'' Ask Doctor Bishop kindly and close the door to his office. ''You are free to talk without anything being recorded, just like we agreed to.''

''They are doing just fine, expect a small thing about Yuzuki actually being in another world and brought a bunch of people back. Him included.'' Started Emily and nod her head to Shingen, which she made him sit on the bed. ''But otherwise, everything is fine. But the reason I asked for this appointment with you, is because he has some illness that can't be cured in their time, because medicine isn't as advanced as ours.''

''I see... May I ask what are the symptoms?'' Ask doctor Bishop. Shingen flinched a little but find the courage to talk.

''Sometimes I have a hard time breathing and suddenly start coughing none stop. Even to the point of blood coming out.'' Explain Shingen calmly, but you can hear his voice shaking. ''My friends manage to make a temporary pills to keep it down, but it is slowly getting worse. Here is the ingredients list.'' Doctor Bishop takes the small paper and go over the list. Luckily it is ingredients you can find in this world. Doctor Bishop hummed as he then pick up a medical equipment.

''May I hear your lungs from a moment? It does require you take off that coat and your shirt.'' Says doctor Bishop. Shingen look at Emily who nodded and then turn around to give him some privacy. Shingen did as told and take the coat off, revealing his wolf ears and tails. Then he take of his shirt to show the many battle scars. Doctor Bishop is taken back by it all, and mostly the werewolf features, but he quickly recovers and start the examination. ''Just take deep breaths as I will hear your heart and lungs with this equipment. It may be cold, but I will only be at the chest area and the back, so just keep taking deep breaths, understood.''

''Yeah.'' Nodded Shingen and start doing it. Doctor Bishop start listening from different spot of the chest. Meanwhile, Emily is still facing away to show respect.

''It is clearly an infection in your lungs. Your breath is raspy and the rhythm of your heart is slightly unusual.'' Inspect doctor Bishop and back away, even signal Shingen to put on his clothes. ''And with these ingredients for a medicin that temporarily keep it down and changes of couching blood at times... It is clearly a lung disease.''

''Is it curable?'' Ask Emily for Shingen.

''Most of lung diseases aren't curable, but we do have medicine much stronger and more effective than these pills your have been taken over the years.'' Says doctor Bishop and start looking through his computer for the right data and the storage. ''Then I highly recommend to stay healthy. That means eat healthy, train your body without straining yourself to the limit and take warm bath, cause the steams can help you breath better.''

''But he and his friends are from another world, something that is back in time. When he runs out, will he be able to make it himself?'' Ask Emily with a crucial information.

''I will give him some new pills he has to take, but I will also write down how to make it with the right herbs and chemicals you can find in nature.'' Inform doctor Bishop and stand up to go get it. ''I will send you an email, Emily, that you later can print out with the instruction. It may take some days, but I will make sure you get it eventually.''

''Thank you, doctor.'' Thanked Emily and look at Shingen. ''Seems like you are gonna be fine for now.'' Shingen huffed and then smile.

''Yeah. Seems like it.''
