6) The future science

Yuzuki POV

Emily came back with our old list of activity, which have different types of activities. She even added some more into it. And the first thing on the list is showing them how science evolved.

''What is science? Never heard that word in Shinga.'' Ask Sasuke-san as we all go outside and to a man made sand pit.

''To put it more simple, is more like analyzing liquid, gas and solid things for what they are made of and what they can do.'' Says Ty-kun and open out shed to get some air tanks. Sadly, wasn't it enough.

''Like the explosion bombs the Date made.'' I pointed out and remember them using it when I was with the Uesugi castle, just so they could distract the soldiers and get me. That helped them understand better.

''And today, are we gonna show a little experiment we already did, but kept because it is so weird and funny. The liquid sand.'' Announce Emily-kun and help Ty-kun set the air tanks on.

''But sand isn't a liquid. They are solid.'' Says Mitsunari-san and defiantly not believing them. Ty-kun walk over to them with a cup filled with sand, ready to explain it to them.

''That is true, but if you put sand into a cup and put your finger into it, then you can dig through the layers of sand, but that is because there is still small air bubbles under the sand, which let the sand move to those bubbles. So if you bang in the sand in that cup, and get all the air out, then it become so solid that it is harder for your finger to get through. And that is what this little science project will show.'' Finished Ty-kun and held the cup of sand back into the pit. (The video above can tell it better)

''We are gonna let the air, inside these tanks, out and into the multiple pipes underneath the sand. The air will push the sand around so much, that it feels like you walk in water. And when we stop the air, will the small air bubbles vanish in the sand vanish and make it really solid.'' Added Emily-kun with her usual smile. 

''Don't worry, you will be able to get out if you use your strength.'' I added to and take of my shoes and socks. ''I will do it first.''

''How brave of you.'' Joked Emily-kun. Ty-kun and Emily-kun then start spinning the air tank and I feel my feet's sinking. 

''I forgot how this feel like.'' I moved around to show the others that it is like water.

''Okay, kill it.'' Says Ty-kun and start shutting the air. I stand still as the bubbled sand stop. When it is over, do I try to move, but I can't.

''I am stuck.'' I laughed.

''Wait, really?'' Ask Hideyoshi-san and get on the sand pit to help me out. He try pull me off, but I only budge a little. Hideyoshi-san start laughing too. ''You are stuck.'' After some time, did I get free. 

''Who wanna tray next?'' Ask Emily-kun nicely.

3rd POV

For two hours straight, did they have fun with the liquid sands and they laugh every time someone is stuck. A few of them tried to lay down while it became solid, which just made it harder to get free. Later on do Ty show them another science project with something called liquid nitrogen. The three siblings got it ready as the others just wait outside at the garden with a table ready. When the siblings came back, do they have collected old toys, vegetables and fruits. Ty held the liquid into a strong pot and put it on the table. He wears a lap coat, just to be sure, along with gloves.

''Alright. Liquid Nitrogen is like icy water. It made the oxygen turn into ice, which make object super fragile and can be easier to destroy with a hammer.'' Explained Ty and start putting things inside. 

''It's like you are cooking.'' Pointed Masanobu out because of the white fog coming out of the pot. Yuzuki giggled and went beside Masanobu.

''Say, Ty. How healthy is that?'' Ty thought for a second why she would ask that, but then get it and joked along with her.

''It is such a healthy pot. You will be such as thin as a skeleton, or more precisely, dead.'' Ty says that as a happy grandma telling her grand kids a family recept. 

''So that is what our little friend did.'' Says Emily and mention to a fake skeleton they have. Yuzuki look at the others and see they are confused about that.

''Don't worry, it is fake. A man made skeleton.'' Informed Yuzuki. ''But seriously Ty-kun, it really looks like you are cooking.''

''Or like a mad scientist.'' Joked Emily and blow at the fog to make it look dramatically. Ty follow the joke and laugh crazy for a minute, before focusing on the liquid nitrogen. 

''Alright, first of is this little toy of Superman.'' Ty pulled up the action figure and place it on top of a box. ''Who wanna try firt. We got enough things for all of you to smash.''

''And I already called dips on the giant gummi bear.'' Interrupted Emily and held the big candy.

''I actually wanna try.'' Says Yukimura and step up. Ty gave him the hammer and he count down from three. Yukimura smashed the doll in pieces. 

''Not so super now, Superman?'' Joked Ty, but that just got a wack from Emily for such a bad joke. ''Who wanna go next?'' And that is how the remaining day went. They all got the change to smash an frozen item, and some where into hundreds of pieces while others where only split into a few. Emily even got a camera to film it all and do a slowmotion to see how it split. And when it was Yuzuki's turn, did they put a medium size duckling into it, but not long after did it suddenly break, shocking the other (Look at the scene on the video below for the same reaction. It's an inspired video like the one above) After that scare/funny moment, came the giant gummi bear and instead of an hammer, did Emily use a metal bat. It was so hard that she invited the others to try break it to.

''That hurt, but was so much fun.'' Says Emily happily and helped with dinner. ''Tomorrow should be a nice with great weather, so we should hang out in the open field.''

''That sounds great. What should we then do?'' Ask Ranmaru, who really liked what happen today.

''What about a slip and slide? It's like gliding on ice, but more slippery. It's super fun in warm days like this.'' Says Emily excited as the dinner is finished. It is a big 'all you can eat' buffet. They have taken all ingrediens from there fridge. 

''Aren't you forgetting we should find a way home?'' Ask Nobunaga, who hasn't thought of much else than that. 

''We know, but it is something we can't figure out right away. Am I right?'' Defended Emily and got serious. ''Behind all the fun, are we thinking and talking together to find some kind of clue as to how you all travel between the two world, and see if we can do it again. Until then, do you just have to enjoy your time here, like Yuzuki did in your world.''
