This is one of those "Superior Spider-Man" trope Fanfics. But there's a twist to it. In this one, some of the characters, that act OOC, are more true to the personalities of the characters...
The silence still reigned. Admittingly, it was rather unexpected. The fact that Roxxon, of all companies, managed to get ahold of the Robot Tomazooma is concerning. It would explain why Robot Tomazoomas' reappearance. But the question stands.
How did Roxxon manage to get ahold of it? And why did it cause destruction at Grand Central Park? Something's not right about this. And Gaea & Haokah needed to find out more. Gaea secretly hoped that Natasha had become aware of this, since she's really good at infiltration and sending information to their allies.
It's no secret to Gaea that Natasha is one of the most recognizable members of the Secret Avengers. Given that Natasha is very skilled at doing behind the scenes works, Gaea is confident that Natasha will uncover the truth. Well, if she's already doing covert ops, which would explain why Gaea hadn't heard from her. If not Gaea would task her with that kind of mission. Either way, Gaea would see to it that Natasha does.
A/N: The Secret Avengers was formed as a black ops strike team led by Steve Rogers to covertly deal with threats that can't be handled by the core Avengers. Black Widow, aka Natasha Romanoff, is a member of the Secret Avengers, since she's an experienced covert operator. Steve Rogers took direct leadership of it with Sharon Carter assisting him with tactical operations. The Secret Avengers was formed, at first, to covertly clean up the messes left by the Osborn administration. To this end, Steve personally recruited a team that would allow him to carry out surgical strikes in any given circumstance. This included experienced covert operators like Black Widow, Moon Knight and Ant-Man; a scientist in Beast; a one-man army in War Machine; a powerful magical warrior called the Valkyrie in Brunnhilde; and the cosmos' top cop Nova.More recently in the Gaeaverse, Athena, Greco-Roman Goddess of Tactical Warfare & Wisdom, became a recent member of the Secret Avengers, since she felt that the Secret Avengers' tactical operations suited her skill set. Flash Thompson, aka Agent Anti-Venom, is also a member of the Secret Avengers. The Secret Avengers was formed after the events of Siege.
A/N: The Savage Avengers are a group of specific Avengers that are more violent and brutal, pretty much Anti-Heroic. In the Gaeaverse, the current members include Conan the Barbarian of Cimmeria, Doctor Voodoo, Elektra, Wolverine, Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider, The Punisher, Venom/Eddie Brock, Ares, Cloak, Dagger, Black Knight, and Weapon H. Black Widow was gonna be a member of the Savage Avengers, but she declined the offer, but she nonetheless agreed to work with them. Daredevil was the leader of the Savage Avengers before his death, with Elektra Natchios now the current Savage Avengers' leader. The Savage Avengers was formed by Doctor Strange & Elektra Natchios to fight against Kulan Gath

Haokah: So it was Roxxon, huh? For some reason, I'm not surprised.
Gaea only nodded in agreement, still processing what they just witnessed.
Gaea: Haokah. Tell Tomazooma that his robot double-ganger is destroyed.
Haokah nodded as a bolt of lightning hit him as he disappeared, leaving Gaea alone. The Elder Goddess of Earth looked at Robot Tomazoomas' head for a moment as she tapped her right ear with a finger, apparently contacting someone.
Gaea: Natasha, can you hear my voice?
Turns out, it's a com link, and Gaeas' making contact with the Black Widow. Gaea then heard Natasha's voice emanating with surprise.
Natasha: Yes, lady Erce.
Gaea raises an eyebrow that expresses curiosity.
Gaea: Are you by yourself? I don't want other people to know about our "little secret".
Natasha: Luckily, I am by myself. So, what do you need me for?
Gaea: A mission.
Natasha: About the robot that you fought?
Gaea nodded, confirming her answer to Natasha's question.
Gaea: Yes. Me and Haokah discovered that Roxxon Energy Corporation must've gotten the Robot Tomazooma at some point. I need you to infiltrate the Roxxon base in New York and see if said corporation actually has the robot and what plans they have for said robot.
Natasha: On it. Should I tell Cap?
Gaea: Let me tell him. I'll meet you there later on. Hopefully Cap would be alright with this specific mission.
Natasha: Copy that, lady Erce. Natasha out.
The audio on the com link then turned off. Gaea sighed for a bit.
Gaea: How am I gonna explain this to Cap?
She then taps her com link again as a small blue light blinks. Then, sometime later, a Quinjet showed up. Gaea then dragged the head of Robot Tomazooma to the inside and strapped it with tight webbing, keeping it from rolling all over the place. She then piloted the Quinjet and flew towards the Avengers base at the North Pole. Once she got there, Gaea then rubbed her forehead and sighed, knowing that she'll have to explain to Cap about her assigning Natasha on a mission not tasked by him.
Gaea did get a good look at the base. Although she couldn't see every part, it was enough for her to see that the base was based on a dead Celestial named Progenitor. It's not really the dead Celestial that the avengers are using, but a copy of it. Gaea admitted that she almost believed that it was Progenitors' corpse. Luckily for the Avengers, it wasn't.
Gaea then entered the War Room, with the Robot Tomazooma head in tow, and sat it on the floor. Gaea then sat on one of the chairs and sighs with her shoulders lowering. She started to think about her son, Peter Parker. She prayed to her father, the Demiurge, and even The One Above All, to be sure that Peter awakes. After all, she is a mother.
But Gaea will have to do so for another time, as she then heard footsteps from another. She gets and turns around to see Steve Rogers with folded arms. Steve Rogers then asked Gaea.
Steve Rogers: I suppose that you want to talk to me about the mission that you tasked Natasha with?
Gaea simply nodded at the WW2 Super Soldier.
Gaea: She told you, didn't she?
Steve Rogers nodded back.
Steve Rogers: Yep.
Gaea sighed for a bit before she tells him.
Gaea: I just wanted to see if you can approve of this particular mission. Who knows, maybe we could potentially expose Roxxon's dirty secrets.
Steve Rogers rubbed his forehead for a moment, thinking about whether he should approve or not.
Steve Rogers: All right. I'm okay with this specific mission. Hopefully the two of you find something that can help us against Roxxon.
Gaea sighed in relief at Steve Roger's answer.
Gaea: Thank you, Cap. You won't be disappointed.
Gaea then raced down the Avengers Mountain hallways as she got to one of the hangers. The one she's currently in has the Quinjet. Just where she remembered when landing it. Gaea then gets inside the Quinjet as the hanger doors open. The Quinjet then flies away, heading towards the New York Roxxon base, where Gaea will meet up with Natasha.
