I felt weird. I wasn't cold anymore. Actually, quite warm. I felt something soft beneath me. Was I in heaven? Sleeping on a cloud? I slowly opened my eyes. I look to see a small wood room. A fireplace on the right wall and a small table in the middle of the room. Also, a few chairs are strong about. I saw the doors. One straight ahead, and one to my left. I sat up and looked for my weapons. I looked over to see them on a nightstand next to whatever bed I was on, against the wall. I looked up to see a woman walk into the room, it appeared she had a tray of food in her hand. She was yet to notice my awakened form. She sat down on the tray on the small wooden table. She looked up and noticed my now conscious self. She gave me a sweet smile, "Hello little one." She started setting stuff around the table and started cut bread. "You must be wondering where you are. Well, dear old Henry was out hunting when he found out in the snow. Barely alive. So he brought you to me. Good thing he did, if he brought you any later the cold may have taken you. Anyway, sweetie, my name is Luisa." She explained.

I gave her a slight nod, showing her I understood. "Where exactly am I?"

"Well, you're in my home. That is in a village. Where a very small, devoted village. I'm kinda like a medical woman here. I know how to heal the most common sickness and injuries. Later I'll take you out to visit the priestess. Now eat up, I'll be back." She said walking out the room, leaving the door open. It was then I realized I was actually really hungry. I got out of the bed and walked over to the table. The food contained some form of soup, bread and butter, and a small bit of cheese. I sat down and started eating,

———————> time skip because eating is boring to read about.

When I was done I stood up and walked over to the nightstand and saw that there were clothes laying out for me. I assumed as much, they looked unused and wore my size. I quickly slide them on. Then I tucked my gun and knife inside of my jacket.

I hesitantly walked into the hall, looking for the woman. I walked into what appeared to be a foyer. A door openness on the other side of the room. Luisa walked in. "Ah, I see you found the clothes. So I suppose you're ready to head out then?" She said, grabbing another jacket. "I-I sup-p-pose so." It stuttered out. She started locking the door. "I'm also going to stop by the market to get some food if that alright. i might stop at the duke as well?" She said, the last part kinda muttered to herself. She opened the door, and of into the world, we go.
