"Jinx? You there?" Yelled the cat, waking up after a fall.
"Over here!" The other smaller cat called back, shaking off whatever muck had got caught in their fur. They sigh and run in the direction they heard the voice from.
"Smokey! You okay?" They asked after catching sight of their friend.
"Yeah I'm alright, but , where are we?" the two cats looked around, but couldn't see much as it was very dark.
"I don't know, I can't see anything. Maybe we're in a coma together."
"Really Jinx? That's your conclusion in all this? We fell down a hole, and you think we're in a coma? My theory is we're in the hole. Dumbass." Smokey says in a joking manor. The two decide it's best if they just sleep there for the night. It's already almost midnight, and if they were going to find a way out of here, they would need to get some rest.

Smokey wakes up to see a strange looking cat staring down at him.
"AAH WHO ARE YOU? WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?" They jump up and panic after the realization of what was above them.
"Relax Smoke! That's just a salesman. You slept in. let me catch you up on some stuff." Says Jinx, clearly having lots of energy.
"Seriously? You woke up before me? You never do? Did you even sleep at all?" Smokey walks over to Jinx and smells food behind them.
"You got food? Where'd you get it? can I have some?"
"One question at a time! everything you've said this morning is questions! One, yes I have food. Two, I got it from the salesman. Three, yes you may have some." Jinx replied. The lack of response to the sleeping question gave Smokey the answer. Not the one they wanted, but the one they got.
Jinx ran off deeper into the tunnel with a little "follow me!" and Smokey now notices the salesman is gone. What a shame, he was a cool dude. Smokey jumps up and follows Jinx, leading to a small hole in the wall. Well, small enough that the humans he knew wouldn't ever notice it.
"You first." Jinx states as they gesture to the hole.
"Wait what? You want me to go in there? How am I supposed to fit? Whats even in there?" Smokey asks, still very confused about what's all happening here. Jinx just simply nods in response, and smokey decides to attempt to go down into the hole. First, he sits down and looks through it. it looks like it just leads to a dark forest. Cats are known to randomly fit into small spaces, so why not try? He struggles to get his head through, but manages. Surprisingly, he can breathe just fine. They didn't think about the possibility of not breathing.
after some more time, all that was still in the other side of the hole was their tail. After, with very little struggle, comes Jinx.
"Where are we going anyway?" asks Smokey.
"You'll see. The salesman showed me the way. But he didn't let me go all the way without you. He seems like a nice dude." The two continue to talk about random stuff for the next few minutes until they reach a wall of weeds and vines. Smokey looks very confused, but Jinx looks like they know exactly what this is. They step closer and look al over the wall. Slowly beginning to look more and more confused.
"There should be something here.." Jinx mutters under their breath. Smokey walk up behind them and sits down, still very confused about what's going on. They keep looking around until eventually they give up. Jinx sits beside Smokey, and they turn to face each other. Jinx is still looking at the wall.
"It should be right here! He told me there was someway to open the wall to some... I don't know, some ledge thing? I forget what he said." Jinx looks down and lays on the ground; a very gloomy look taking over their face. They hear a rustling in the bushes around them. They get up and prepare to fight, when out jumps a familiar figure.
"Ah, I didn't think you would be able to find the key." Smokey and Jinx both go back to sitting on the ground and watch the salesmen as he runs his paw along the bottom of the wall. He stops and picks up some strange metal object. He finds the only unnaturally coloured flower, and uses it like a keyhole for the wall. Actually, it would make more sense to call it a door. The door slowly parts in the middle, making a magical looking entrance to a cliff with a hanging basket.
"Now before you say anything, go closer. Trust me when I say, Your perspective will change." and with a wink and a jump, he was gone again.
Jinx jumps forward, and quickly walks closer the the edge. Smokey however, is deathly afraid of heights and walks slower the closer they get. Jinx stops and sits down, falling into more of a laying position on the ground. smokey sits beside them and looks down off the cliff in awe.
They see shops and houses and bridges, floating lights all around, cats walking around in fun little hats and raccoons wearing suits with glasses. Buildings that look like they come straight out of a wizard novel. If a human ever saw this they would be called insane and go to what they call a mental hospital. The whole image they see almost seems make-believe, with people trading small gold coins for food and clothes. cats and mice and so many others, getting along and speaking together. Theres mice dressed as pirates and cats dressed like princes. So many beautiful sights. Nothing here is anything close to what they called home.
"Am I dreaming? This looks like a wizard city." Jinx finally speaks, breaking the silence.
"Okay I know you like Harry Potter but this is reality. I do to" Smokey replies, as if they aren't thinking the same thing.
"Come on! The basket looks like a way down!" and Jinx runs down to the basket, trying to see how it works. Smokey runs after them and jumps in the basket, trusting them to figure it out. Jinx eventually finds a lever, and jumps in the basket with them. they reach out and hit the lever, sending the basket to slowly move further to the ground below them.
