I double check my clothes and belongings to ensure I hadn't forgotten anything. Looking at myself in the mirror I take a deep breath trying to calm my nerves. I'm pacing the room when Jon appears in my window.
"All done?" He asked.
"Yep. The towns people are in the abandoned service tunnels. We just have to pick them up."
I open the wall to the passages only me, Jon, and the oldest of palace staff knew. We made our way to the door that led to the Mountains. Once there I hugged a few people and said "I know I am young and you all are risking a great amount, but I am thanking you not only as your Princess but as your friend."
"Princess it is time, they have gone inside to make the switch."
"Okay everyone put the children out first we have a twenty minute window."
"Twenty-seven minutes." An elderly woman named Gazel said from the crowd as she made her way to the front.
"Excuse me." I said giving her my full attention.
"Twenty-seven minutes Jason is on duty tonight so I made sure I made my special chilli. He ate three bowls."
"That's even better thank you Mrs. Gazel. Now, let's do this.
All two-hundred-eighty of us ran across the lawn at top speed. Jon holding my hand tightly and me holding Mrs. Gazel. We made it across just as Jason was coming out to his post.
"We made it." Jon said with a sigh of relief.
"Was there ever a doubt? What about your people?"
"All here and and accounted for Princess. All three-hundred-sixty-six of us." Said a girl who had jet black hair and emerald eyes just like Jon coming from the trees.
"Ok, I trust everyone has there belongings. I need everyone to hold onto someone. I'm going to teleport us to our location!" I yelled hearing gasps and murmurs from the crowd.
"Ok, hold on, one you can do magic? Two, do you not trust us Princess?" Said the girl who looked exactly like Jon.
"No Meridith it's not that."
"It's fine Jon. Meridith we have exactly six-hundred-fifty-five people. Most are children. I do not wish to lose anyone. Oh and Amethyst there is no need for formality out here.
"Amy come hold onto me. Everyone is touching someone." Jon said grabbing Meridith's and his little brother Mikey's hands."
I wrapped my arms around his waist and put nothing but the weeping willow into my mind. In seconds we were there. I showed everyone the entrance and told them all they had to do was picture their fondest memory and they would be transported to their individual rooms. Once everyone was in their rooms I teleported into Jon's room and layed across his bed. He came in from the bathroom, missing a shirt.
"I'm sorry I didn't know you were getting dressed. I needed to talk to you."
"It's just my shirt Amy hold on."
I heard him go into the bathroom. I layed back on his bed and drifted into a deeper sleep then I've ever been in. I felt him pick me up and place me under the covers as visions of the palace rushed into my head. He climbed into next to me with his back against mine as the vision stopped on both our parents. Jon's father is holding his wife trying to comfort her.
"We have to trust them dear. We have given them all the tools to support and protect themselves. Now we can only hope they were paying attention." He said kissing her head in reassurance.
On the other hand my Father was furious, he was breaking things across the castle. Screaming about the emergence of disloyalty from even his own family.
"I will see them hanged! Every single one of them with their heads on a pike! This is treason in its most basic form! I shall not soon forget this I swear!" He yelled through the now holloe halls. His voice echoing of the marble walls as his threat sunk into my subconcious.

Hey guys sorry it took me so long to upload the update but I went to see my sister and she doesn't have any internet and I was just like Ugh! Any hope you guys like the new update. Pretty spontaneous huh? This all goes down three days after Amethyst asks Jon to help her run away. They work pretty fast don't they?
