Chapter 2- Meeting the Team

Pov. Satoshi

Daichi-senpai had told me to come back to the gym once the school day was over. So here I am walking behind Tsukishima and Yamaguchi-kun. Basically I just followed them to their volleyball practice. Tsukishima-kun seemed annoyed by ot while Yamaguchi-kun just looked nervous. Reaching the gym the three of us entered in silence.
Daichi and Suga-senpai approached me when they saw me enter, "Ryuu-kun glad you came. Why don't you introduce yourself and practice with us?" Though Daichi said it as a question it sounded more like a demand.
I noticed some people who hadn't been here earlier and I went over to them, "Ohayo senpai's, I'm Ryuu Satoshi first year." I said speaking to a really short guy and an older looking guy.
The short one had a sparkle in his eyes, "call me senpai again!" He practically demanded.
I sighed, "Shouldn't you have introduced yourself back first? Nishinoya Yu?" I asked.
He looked at me shocked but before he could talk Daichi put his hand up touching my shoulder, "Ryuu here did some reseach on us last night so he knows our names Noya-san." He said.
Looking at the older looking guy I spoke, "Azumane Asahi? I watched a video of you spike. Do you mind if I show you how to improve it senpai?" I asked looking him in the eyes.
"A-ah...sure." he said looking away and I couldn't help but chuckle.
"You act so kawai Asahi-san." I said with a chuckle as I covered my mouth.
Asahi blushed lightly at my comment. Looking anywhere but at me. Taking a breath I became serious. "Kageyama, throw me the same toss you give Asahi-san." I said grabbing a ball and throwing it to Kageyama before standing where Asahi would before he started to run.
Slightly glaring at Kageyama he tossed the ball how he would to Asahi but to him it felt as though his will wasn't what made him make the toss. I knew this because I've made people feel like that before. I followed the motions to mimic Asahi's spike. Instead of doing a normal straightforward power strike though I angled it. This caused the ball to curve sharply before landing with a thud on the other side of the net.
"Did you see that Asahi-san?" I asked now looking at him again.
"Just showing him once probably won't help. Luckily I got here in enough time to record it." An unfamiliar voice said.
Looking back I saw an older male with blonde hair, "Eh? I don't remember reading anything about you." I said as I thought back to my research.
"That's our coach Ukai-kun." Daichi informed me.
"I hadn't known you would be joining the team, but with your help everyone can get stronger quicker." Ukai-kun said.
Then a teacher came in with a female student, "Ah that's Takeda-sensai and Shimizu Kiyoko our manager." Suga told me.
When Kiyoko saw me she immediately came up to me, "Y-your R-ryuu Satoshi?" She asked.
I smiled down at her, "Yep, it's nice meeting you shimizu-chan." I said apparently my voice coming out real smooth cause Noya and Tanaka were glaring at me.
"C-can I have y-your autograph?" Shimizu asked holding up a paper and pen a light blush dusting her cheeks.
"Sure." I said taking the pen and signing the paper before handing it back.
Their glaring seems to get more intense... 'someone help' I cry in my head silently.
