"Are you sure you want to do this Will?" (y/n) asked him hesitantly with the boy nodded in response.

Will was going to attempt to have a connection with Scarecrow and him. The (h/c) haired girl wanted to stop him but there was no stopping Will Robinson when he set his mind on something.

The boy looked over to Adler and gave him the go. "Ready."

Adler pushed a button, essentially turning off the electricity that was keeping Scarecrow in his cage. He and (y/n) watched the boy as he got closer and began talking.

"Hey. My name's Will Robinson."

There were no sign of reaction from the robot.

"I told you Will, this robot doesn't respond the same was yours did." The man was disproven when Scarecrow crawled out of its cage.

"It's nice to see you out of your box. The last time we met, you seemed kind of angry. I would be too if I were left alone and hurt." Will slowly stepped back, going near a case and opening it; revealing one of the robot's lost arm.

"I saw you were missing some pieces. Thought maybe this could help." Will carefully stepped towards the robot as it tilted its head at the boy attentions.

The closer the arm got, the brighter the wires got as it was seemingly reaching out to be connected again.

Will looked at (y/n) and Adler at the side as the man commented. "Easy Will."

As Will placed the arm were it originally belonged, the robot begin to piece itself back together, looking at its hand now in awe.

The robot raised the same arm, lifting one of its claws near Will's arm.

"Careful." Adler spoke, being prepared to press the button at any moment.

"It's okay. Wait." The claw lifted up the boy's sleeve to reveal the scar he got from the blast.

The robot's face glowed as Adler confusedly asked the boy. "You were attacked?"

"Some robots hurt people, but they don't have to."

Scarecrows dropped his arm and shifted his gaze to the young girl, pointing at her hip. (y/n) looked at the robot  with wide eyes as she looked down and lifted her shirt a little to reveal the same patterned scar on her body. The only difference was that it looked more severe than Will's did.

"They can choose to help too." Will looked at the girl in sadness, knowing he could've done something to prevent her scar from being so deep.

The boy kneeled down to a bag that he brought and lifted out a toy figure of their robot. "He's my friend. He helps us." Will gave scarecrow the figure. "He saved my life. And I though that maybe, we could be friends too."

Scarecrow looked between the robot figure and Will before smashing it to the ground, breaking it to pieces. He jumped at Will but froze when Adler pressed the button.

"Will!" Maureen yelled from the entrance. She froze at the sight as Adler pushed another button that slammed Scarecrow back into it's cage.

Maureen ran over to Will and pushed him behind her. "Are you okay?"

"Fine. I'm fine, nothing happened." The boy practically yelled at the woman.

Maureen's face turned stoic. "Go wait for me outside please. You too (y/n)."

The girl nodded as she followed Will who ran out. When she reached the hall, she saw that Will was sitting in front of a giant window, laying his head against the wall.

(y/n) quietly sat beside him as she waited for him to speak.

"I thought I could do it. I thought maybe, just maybe that we would be able to become friends and he could help us find robot."

"Will, there was nothing you could do about it. Trust me, I tried."

Will turned to the girl in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"I've lived with Scarecrow for a year and trust me when I say that I've tried to gain his trust. But the thing is, he doesn't want to trust us."

"Why?"

"You saw what they did to him, they probably tortured him for years. I don't blame him for trying to protect himself."

"I guess."

The two feel in a soft silence as (y/n) laid her head against the wall and closed her eyes. Will looked out the glass window, glancing at the girl ever so often.

He cleared his throat and began to speak. "So uh, you can feel things from robot."

The girl hummed. "Yeah but I suppose you get to see the things he does. You were always closer to robot than I was."

The boy nodded and looked down to her waist, remembering that she had gotten a scar from the attack.

"What happened? After you left the garage."

The girl opened her eyes and slipper her fingers to comb her hair, turning her head to face the boy.

"Believe it or not Smith saved me. She helped me into my suit and launched me with a fire extinguisher to head towards the Resolute. They saw me and let me in before the ship was attacked. Everyone evacuated but than I saw Sam. She was just standing there, she was looking around and seemed so lost. I knew I couldn't leave her alone so I slipped out and got her to safety and well, you know the rest."

The boy nodded and looked to the ground. "I-I thought you died."

"What?"

"Well, you know that drawing Robot drew, turns out we were there. When I noticed that you weren't with us, I panicked. When we landed on one of the planets, I searched the Jupiter and you were no where in site. Smith confessed that she let you off the ship but we didn't know what happened to you. I-"

The boy stopped talking when (y/n) had slipped her fingers into his. Rubbing her thumb on his hand in a comforting manner. "Looks like you had quite the adventure as well." She gave him a soft smile, making his cheeks slightly pink as well as having his stomach burst out with an unfamiliar feeling.

I should probably ask mom about it

"So you're living with that other family. Heard that they have a daughter, is she nice?"

"Yeah, sort of."

"Cool."

"Jealous?" The boy teased.

"You wish." The girl laughed.

The two continued to talk, telling one another about their stories and the danger they faced.

All while continuing to hold each other's hand.
