Caring.

It was a surprisingly sunny and bright day for a Thursday. After finishing up all of your classes for the day, you head down the stairs of Kamiyama High School to meet up with 2 of your other troupe mates of the Wonder Stage. Day after day, you can never get your mind off the fact that you, Emu, Nene, and Rui are all ambassadors of Phoenix Wonderland. You didn't have rehearsals today so, the four of you were going out to run some errands for your next shows in the months on. You had to let Saki know you won't be home, so you don't worry them.

You reach the end of the school, standing outside on the grass, on the phone, waiting for Saki to pick up. No answer...It's okay, you'll just text her, she's probably practicing. You finish sending the text message and as you put your phone down and away from your face, you see 2 very familiar faces upon you. It's Rui and Nene. They scared you a bit, so you jumped in response.

"Kya!!! You did NOT have to scare me like that!"

"We weren't not even that close to your face."

"Sure. Anyway, are you guys ready to pick up Emu? I just finished texting Saki that I won't be at PXL today."

"Yup, we're ready to go." Rui has his usual sly smile on his face as he spoke.

"Okay then, let's go!"

While the 3 of you are on your way to Miyamasuzaka, Nene nervously attempts to make conversation.

"Why is it so bright outside today...?" Nene says as she squints her eyes.

"That is precisely why I check the weather every day." Rui pulls out a pair of 2 sunglasses for him and Nene.

"What the h-"

"Here you go." Rui gives Nene the sunglasses, while putting on his own.

"I am not wearing these."

"Yes, I know they're on the silly side but, I'd rather have protected eyes and look a bit out of the crowd, than have my eyes burnt to a crisp." Rui raises an eyebrow.

"I hate you." Nene groans as she proceeds to put on the sunglasses.

"Hey Rui, would you happen to have another pair for me?"

"Why would I have one for you? I thought you were a star whose 'prepared for any situation'. You should be more responsible with that type of stuff. Especially as our troupe leader and let alone an ambassador." Rui looks at you with a disgusted look on his face. You'd never seen that expression on him before.

"H-Hey! I---"

"That's the end of it, Tsukasa. I don't want to hear any more of it. My head aches with your complaints."

You couldn't tell if he was joking or not but, most of his acting was pretty obvious so why wasn't it this time? Nonetheless, it hurt anyway. You decided to keep quiet about the situation as he requested. It was a long walk, so at least you had time to process it.

After a long while of walking, the three of you finally reach the entrance of Miyamasuzaka Girls' Academy. You spot Emu cheerfully skipping her way to the entrance of the school. She finally notices us and shoves a big smile our way. Less than a second later, Emu is right in front of us.

"Wonderhoy, Tsukasa!"

"Hello to you too...?" You never fail to find it difficult to figure out that strange language of hers. But that's what made her so unique, so you never minded.

"Wonderhoy, Nene! Wonderhoy, Rui!"

"Why hello, Emu. Are you ready to head into town, or do we need to stop anywhere else?"
