~|Harumi POV.|~

The Cristal King deceived me. I was standing there listening to what he had to say to the Green Ninja, and I couldn't believe what I was hearing.. He was the cause of my parents death? I swear I thought it was the ninja. That's when I attacked.

"You took my family! You took EVERYTHING from me!" I said as I attacked the Overlord.

I felt nothing but rage, anger and hate: towards my former king. How could have I been so blind? I've been so focused on getting revenge on the ninja for killing my parents. Or so I thought. I should have looked more into the Cristal King. Even better yet, I should have looked more into my parents death than thinking it was all the ninjas fault.

~|After the Overlord's defeat|~

Everyone gathered on the rooftop of a ten story building after the commencement of the final battle we all will remember. Lloyd and his friends embraced in a close hug, while I stood behind. Jay noticed me, standing here uncomfortablly.

"It's okay. She's with us." Lloyd explained to them, while taking a firm but gentle grasp on my arm.

I smiled at Lloyd. Even after what I did to him and his friends, he stood by me, telling his friends, I'm not a threat.

"It's true. She helped. Not as much as I did, perhaps, but why argue over details." Garmadon bumped in, feeling a little full of himself.

Jay Looked up to the sky, seeing a golden coloured dragon hover down close to them.

"Is that what I think it is?" Spoke Jay.

"I think it's us!" Kai exclaimed. "I mean, out powers."

I watched as the ninja walked towards the dragon. It was beautiful I must say. It's golden
Glow made it look magical. The four heads made it look a bit hair-raising though.

"What's happening?" I heard the nindroid, Zane say.

"It's fading away!" Cole anounced.

"The elemental powers are returning from whence they came." Master Wu answered.

Kai turned to Wu. "You think they'll ever return to us?

"In time, surely. After all, true power is never lost."

"So long powers!" Jay called out. "Can't wait to see you again!"

"So what do we do now?" Cole asked.

"What we always do. Rebuild." Wu responded.

~~~~~
I was at the monastery helping rebuild the place. I feel bad blowing it up. My mind was so clouded then.
No time for blaming myself. I have a job to do.
I was assigned to help paint the walls after the drywall was crackfilled and parched. Not only that, I helped place and staple down carpet with Lloyd's mother, Misako.
"So, Harumi." Misako spoke.
"Hm?" I hummed in question.
"What got you to come out of the blue, and fight against the Overlord?" She asked.
This question was so sudden. The change of topic from talking about the history of Ninjago to asking why I fought with Lloyd.
"Um, the Crystal King.... He was talking to Lloyd and Garmadon over the conflict, how he was all in control of what happened in the past... Something about the Great Devour biting Garmadon's hand. He also said he's the cause of the release of that big snake.... The snake that killed my parents.
Misako listened carefully to what I had to say as we worked. I like that about her.
"Oh Hun." She said sympatheticly. Leaning over to give me a side hug.
I gave her a sad smile. Talking about my parents was a personal topic to me, but I knew I could trust her.
"I was so blind over the anger and the hatred that I never really looked into what happened before, that caused the Great Devour's release." My voice cracked at the end of my sentence. I mustn't cry now. Not in front of everyone.
"Would you like me to explain how the snake was released, while we finish putting this carpet down?" Misako wondered.
I nodded in response with a smile on my face. I wanted to know what happened. What's a better way than to listen to a woman that was there herself?
