"I want to see if I can do the same for your ArFa-Sys."

I stare at the young man in shock.

"Excuse me?" I ask him, taken aback.

We stare at each other for a good five seconds, before he speaks again.

"Uh, so?"

I smirk, turning my head back forward.

"Yeah, no, I understood what you said." I sigh. "But I can tell something like that took a while."

Kirigaya looks at his computer again, and sighs.

"Well, obviously, yeah, but I think the end result is pretty cool."

"Sure, whatever you say, kid."

At that moment, I heard something vibrating. Kiriygaya takes his phone out from his pocket.

"Sorry, one sec." he says, smiling.

He answers the phone, and turns around. Man, this guy is popular.

"Yeah, I'll be home soon, Sugu. Just finishing some stuff up with Yui." he said.

He then hung up. Must've been his family or something.

"As I was saying, I want to see if I can do for Rei what I did for Yui. Are you alright with that?"

"Yeah, I guess." I say.

He steps up next to me, and lifts his hand to his computer, but I stop him.

"But, know this. If you do anything to Rei, anything at all besides this little camera thing," I mutter, allowing my hair to fall down in front of my face. "You won't live to regret it."

There were a few seconds of silence. I could tell he was intimidated.

I take my hand off of the desk, and shake my hair back to its natural look, and let out a chuckle.

"Don't have to take what I say so seriously, kid."

I shot a glance at him, and I could see the slight fear in his eyes.

"A-Anyways, we should get started. I have to be home by dinner, otherwise-,"

I hold up a hand.

"Spare me the details. Here," I say, reaching my other hand into my pocket. I take out the glasses I got from my mother. I set them on the table. "Instead of your little camera, I want to see if we can put Rei's AI into these."

"Is that even possible?" he asks.

"We don't know yet." I say, with confidence. "Let's get going."

I took out my headgear, as Kirigaya had told me to bring, and brought it to the back room.

"Where are you going?" he asks.

"I'm going to warn Emma what we're doing. So she doesn't panic."

I go into the back room, and sit down on one of the few spare chairs the lab keeps back here. I plug the headset into the outlet beside me and set it on my head.

Once I dove in, and load into GGO, I see Emma tampering with her settings, her back turned.

"Hey, Emma. Got a minute?"

Emma closes her menu, and turns around. She has a smile spread across her face.

"Good morning, Master," she greets me, taking a bow. "How are you feeling today?"

"Pretty good. How about you?" I ask, putting my hand on my hip.

"Satisfactory, Master. What is your plan for today? Bounty hunting? Finding more parts?"
