CHAPTER ONE

"PROTAGONIST OF THE
NIGHT SKY."

🪐🪐🪐

AS I SIT here looking up at the dark night sky with probably a billions of stars in it, I can't help but think of my school days.

Its been 5 years since my school life ended and I just can't stop thinking about the days back then.

The moon, which was the main protagonist of the night sky came out of its curtains which were the clouds.

The bright moonlight shone on me which made the pearls and sequins on my dress glisten just like the moon itself.

I don't really have any idea about how I ended up here, I mean, I am currently sitting on a wooden bench made of expensive Oak Wood in the courtyard of who knows what hotel, Park or something?

Nonetheless, I ended up in a really nice place where I could clear my thoughts off my mind.

The party air was already suffocating but the sudden appearance of someone made the air impossible to even breathe freely, that's why I sprinted out of there to go to nowhere and ended here and I don't regret it.

It's peaceful here.

But the peaceful silence didn't last long.
Well, I wished it would've last a little bit longer. Just a little bit.

"Hey Y/N!! You LITTLE SHIT ! How dare you just ran out of there while leaving us behind?"

Sara shouted out to me while panting heavily with Hena following behind her while panting too.

Did they just run a 20km marathon or something?

"You! Do you have a death wish?"

Hena threatened me while giving me a death glare after she had just caught up with her normal breathing rate and wasn't panting anymore.

Well, I guess....I made both of them run to search for me, unintentionally though.

I was sitting there on the bench calmly while the both of them were glaring down at me while crossing their arms across their chest.

I couldn't help but chuckle at the both of them.

"How dare you chuckle?"

Both of them scolded me in unison which made me chuckle even harder.

So if we summarize it in the easiest way possible here it is. I came to this party of some businessmen or something along with Hena and Sara.

After we were done talking and introducing ourselves to some people we barely even knew, we planned to go to the dance floor but my sharp eyes caught a glimpse of someone amongst the crowd of dancing people which made me feel disgusted to even breathe in the same air as that person so I sprinted out leaving the both of them behind.

"So, care to explain, honey?"

Hena looked at me expectantly while raising an eyebrow.

"Spill the tea, Darling. "

Soon, Sara joined Hena in making me puke out the truth.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on there and sit down first, babes."

I stood up from the bench then grabbed both of them by their shoulders and made them sit down.

They were looking at me in curiosity now, all the stupid but cute madness was long gone.

I suddenly turned serious then spoke up-

"I saw her at the Party."

"You what?"

Both of them questioned me in unison again which made me smile a little but soon I turned serious again.

"I. Saw. her. at. the. party."

I said while emphasizing every word.

Their faces were painted in shock as they looked at each other and then turned their heads to me.

Both of them stoop up then attacked me with a hug while patting my back.

"It's okay, Y/N. We're here for you, you know that right?"

Sara spoke to me in a comforting tone which made me thank God a hundred times for sending these two angels in human form for me.

Hena kept muttering comforting words while hugging me.

I couldn't help but grin widely just like a 5-year-old getting appreciation from her parents for scoring full grades in a minor test.

"I'm okay. I feel fine, you know because you both are here for me, in this moment, I feel alright. "

I reassured them after pulling out of the hug.

Atleast I'm trying to feel alright.

"OK, so shall we head back now if it is alright?"

Hena asked while eyeing me carefully.
Sara nodded her head as a response to Hena's question.

I was still hesitant to go in there and my uneasiness didn't go unnoticed by them.

"You both can go, I'll come after awhile. I think I need more fresh air, you know. "

I stated with a small forced smile on my face while they just looked at me worriedly and patted my shoulder.

"Just call us if you need something okay?"

I nodded vigorously and bid them.

And now. I was here. Alone. Again.

I sighed and sat down on the bench again.

The moon had gone to hide in the clouds again and the environment was as gloomy as my soul, for now.

"What is a pretty lady like you, doing here Alone?"
