CHAPTER SIX

"M'LADY."

🪐🪐🪐

MORNINGS HAVE ALWAYS been hard for me.

I had to forcefully move out of my soft blankets and face the reality I actually wanted to face.

This morning was different.

I woke up to a reality I didn't want to face again.

The character I shaped myself into today has shattered into pieces.

I started breathing heavily as I looked at myself in the bathroom mirror.

I heaved a long sigh as I started my morning routine.

I found out from Mr.Lee that my parents were out of Seoul and they had forgotten to tell me about it as they had a busy schedule.

I didn't tell anyone about the threats I received.

I was used to suppressing everything inside myself.

I reached university and with a fear lingering inside me, I made my way to my locker.

I took a deep breath before opening the locker as I expected death threat letters inside.

I slowly pulled open the locker only to find it empty.

I shut my eyes while heaving a sigh, but when I opened my eyes again, I saw a note stuck in the inner side of the locker.

Y/N darling, don't skip today's blind date after university, I'll be expecting some news from you after the date ends. So don't you dare try to get away this time :))

-your love, mom

I smiled a little while reading the note then I put my things in the locker and left for my first class.

"Ugh, I have to go to another blind date now. Mom won't let me live in peace if she finds out I bunked another date."

I whined as I was jealous of Hena who was telling us continuously about the date she was going on with Taehyung, the man she liked, the man of her choice, the man she chose for herself, and mainly the most handsome man I had ever seen.

"Are you both done whining about your 'boyfriends' or 'soon to be boyfriend'? Let this single woman live in peace, for God's sake."

Sara snorted as she looked at us with a 'can you freaking stop?' gaze.

"Miss Y/N, it's been 30 minutes now, your blind date must be waiting for you. I think we should leave or else
Mrs.Shin wouldn't be happy with you."

Mr.Lee interrupted our little talk as I sighed then bid them goodbye and got in the car.

I looked at the time and saw that it was 2:45, my blind date must've left until now, I guessed.

I was secretly hoping he left without causing any chaos by telling my mom that her daughter never appeared for the blind date.

It was already 3pm until I reached the location mom sent me.
