"Leave us be. I want to be here with Ruby Jane.....you all maybe excused." Lisa excused Ruby Janes servants
They all still stood in the yard with them. Without a word from their young madam they dare not move. Ruby Janes handmaiden dare not move looking straight at the couple in front of her.
"You all maybe excused, don't worry about me." Ruby Janes soft voice said and they all bowed and left their young madam to be
Ruby Janes handmaiden had a hurt expression. She then backed away looking at the ground as she walked away.
"I'm sorry for being so rude....but I've got some news to tell you." Lisa than moved a little closer to Ruby Jane pulling her hands into her own
"Lisa....we shouldn't be like this. People can see." Ruby Jane blushed and tried pulling away
"Nobody's here, it's just you and me." Lisa smiled and pulled Ruby Jane into her chest
"Lisa, don't." Ruby Jane smiled and turned away from Lisa
"Don't look away from me. I have something to tell you." Lisa then turned Ruby Jane towards her and lifted her chin up
"Soon, my father and mother will be coming to the kingdom. They'll go talk to your mother and father, do you know why?" Lisa asked with a smile looking down into Ruby Janes eyes
"What for? Is it something serious?" Ruby Jane then was worried and searched for the answer in Lisa's eyes
Lisa then laughed heartily. She shook her head and then pulled Ruby Jane closer into her chest, not loosening her hold.
"They're coming to ask for your hand in marriage. You're going to be my wife soon Ruby Jane, will you be by my side and marry me?" Lisa then pulled out a gold ring with a Ruby encrusted on the top shining
"I've had the conversation with my father and mother awhile ago the last time I left this kingdom to go back to mines." Lisa confessed and placed the ring onto Ruby Janes finger
"Lisa, I don't know what to say."Ruby Jane held her hand over her mouth in shock
"You don't need to say anything. I already know your answer....may I?" Lisa asked as she leaned in to kiss Ruby Jane
She slowly but surely nodded. The taller girl then leaned down and pressed her lips against the smaller girl. Lisa smiled against the girls lips and pulled away, she then wiped Ruby Janes lip with her thumb. They both smiled at one another.
From afar distant, stubborn tears burned and fell from Ruby Janes handmaidens eyes. She gripped the bush that she stood behind in madness. How could she not see, she was the one for her, she was the one who was supposed to get married to her. And so she ran off with tears running down her cheeks.
Flashback
"Lord Manoban. How longer would we be stationed here in Aldon Kingdom?" Bambam Lisa's right hand asked
"Until we are further instructed to be stationed somewhere else." Lisa answered as they walked around the kingdom market
"Alright then." Bambam then moved back abit to let Lisa walk forward
"My basket! My basket! Help someone stole my basket!" Someone's voice called out
Lisa then looked around and saw a man hugging a basket to his chest. She quickly moved, running to catch up to the man. She then kicked out a vegetable basket and without the man noticing her ran straight into it tripping over it falling to his face.
