"I knew you were lying to me Lili...." Jennie whispered as she sat on Lisa's bed
"I was going to tell you....but you've been busy and I've been trying to find a time to actually tell you Jennie. I swear." Lisa said as she stood in front of Jennie
"So we're back to first name basis huh? Fine Lisa. Tell me. Tell me you're leaving me!" Jennie threw the papers at Lisa's chest but intentionally wanting it to hit her face
"Fine. I'm enlisting into the military....school isn't for me Jennie. If it wasn't for you to help me through high school then I wouldn't have passed. You with me through everything and there's not much I can repay you Jennie. I want to disciple myself.....not because I want to leave you and not repay my debt but.....but to learn for myself." Lisa kneeled in front of Jennie taking Jennie's shaking hands in her own to cup her face
"You said we'd go to college together..."Jennie muffled as she let out a sob
"I know....but school isn't for me....not right now." Lisa said and looked up at Jennie
There was a moment of silence.
Jennie understood. But her heart didn't want too. This was her best friend but why did her heart tell her it's more? As her thinking was impulsive, she leaned down and pressed her lips onto Lisa's.
Lisa was stunned. Her eyes wide in shock as Jennie's cheeks were stained with tears, she jerked Lisa forward wanting more feel of Lisa. She pulled away and stood up pulling Jennie up with her, her legs then wrapped around Lisa's.
