"My rooms there. That's the bathroom. It has a giant clawfoot tub, the one in your room is standard so you can use the big one whenever you want...and this is your room." He said explaining as he pointed at three different black wooden doors
I opened the door to 'my' room and stopped in awe. I was speechless. It was the most beautiful room I had ever seen.
It was a huge white and gray room with an in suit bathroom you could see into from the door. Floor to ceiling crown molding, a giant crystal chandelier hanging from the middle of the ceiling. An accent wall with light pink flowers. An oversize bed against one wall and a crib adjacent. There was a big black dresser close to the bed and a gray one with a changing pad on top near the crib.
It was perfect. It had everything: bottles, blankets, toys, diapers, wipes and clothes for Orion and I both piled all around the room. I had never had anyone go through so much trouble or make this big of a gesture before.
I stepped in and turned in a circle taking it all in as tears engulfed my vision.
"What's wrong? Do you hate it?!" Cain asked sounding anxious
"No." I told him sniffling and wiping my eyes
"I love it!" I said rushing to hug him
He picked me up in a big bear hug and breathed me in as my legs encircled his waist.
"Good. I thought something was wrong." he said smiling against my neck
"No. Everythings perfect. Thank you! I love this room...I love you too." I said as he set me down
"You do?" he asked shocked
"Yes. I do. Is that crazy?" I asked back
"No, it's not crazy. And if it is oh well." he said shrugging his shoulders
"I love you too." he whispered against my forehead before kissing it
I felt my face burn pink as my heart filled with more love and adoration than I thought possible. I wrapped my arms around him tighter and we just stood there like that for a minute just holding one another.
Orion broke the trance with a little whine downstairs. After a few seconds Lilly started to whine too. Cain set me down slowly, like he was reluctant to let me out of his reach.
"Come on. Let's go check on our kids." Cain said walking out the door to the stairs
As he walked away I smiled ear to ear.
My heart soaring.

After we ate dinner we walked up the stairs hand in hand as Cain held Orion. He set him down in his crib as I turned off the lights. I set his sound machine on the dresser near his crib and watched as he cooed and put himself to sleep.
"You should get to bed too. You've had..well a crazy year. You deserve good sleep. I'm right next door if you need me." Cain said as he led me to the bed across the room
"Yeah. Thanks." I said as I crawled under the soft covers
"You're welcome. Yell if you need anything. Goodnight my love." he said before kissing my forehead
"Goodnight." I said back as he closed the door with a soft click
I heard him walk around for a few minutes turning off the hallway lights and calling Lilly to his room before hearing his bedroom door close with a click.
I closed my eyes and welcomed sleep for the first time in ages.
Flash back/Dream: **Trigger Warning graphic SA scenario ahead**
"You will give me what I want!" someone yelled
"Stop fighting you stupid bitch." another yelled
"No. Stop. Get off me! Leave me alone!" I yelled back as hands patted and scoured every inch of my body
"We will do this over and over again everyday as many times as we want to. You better get used to it baby. This is just the beginning." someone whispered in my ear as hands held my wrists and legs down outstretched
They tied my limbs down and spread out. Someone climbed on top of me before touching in between my legs with their rough boney fingers. They sat like that for a few minutes playing with me before climbing off.
I felt someone to the side, they slowly undid their zipper.
"No. Please don't. Stop this. Please." I pleaded squirming, trying to get away
"Shut up slut." someone above my head said before flogging me with what felt like extension cords
I screamed and tried to wrestle my way out of my binds. Nothing worked.
Someone slapped my thighs before entering me. I screamed and screamed as they got themselves off. When one finished, another took his place. This went on for hours and hours.
"Stop. Please. Stop. Stop." I whispered hoarsely before shutting my eyes tightly and wished I was anywhere but here

"Estelle. Estelle wake up. It's okay. It's okay I got you." someone whisper in my sleep
"Cain?" I woke up questioning as he pulled me into his lap
"Shhhh. Shhhhh I got you. It's okay. I won't let anyone or anything hurt you again. It's okay. You're here with me." he said as he rubbed my back and kissed my forehead over and over again
"What's going on?" I asked trying to catch my breath, my hand over my chest feeling my heart beat frantic
"You were screaming. I came rushing thinking someone was in here. But you were just dreaming." he said looking at me
"It wasn't a dream! It was real." I said burying my face into his naked chest
"Do you want to talk about it?" He asked snuggling me closer
"No. No. Ju-just hold me?" I asked feeling my tears drip down his chest in between us
"Okay. I'm right here." he said as he scooted back and laid down before covering us with the comforter
"Thank you." I said scooting closer to him
"Always. Try to sleep. I'll be here." he said as he rubbed my back as I closed my eyes
A few minutes later Lilly came in and jumped up by our feet before flopping down. The room filled with her snores.
I focused on Lilly's snores, Orion's sleep machine, feeling Cain's chest rise and fall.
I willed myself to sleep.
