Epilogue: Estelle

It's been a year since Cain told me everything. His past, what he did the night Nick called him.

Chief Hunter called us a few weeks later to tell us Luke and his friends had dropped off the face of the earth. We told him we appreciate all his hard work and promises we know he'd get them someday. Of course we couldn't tell him the truth.

So it's stayed a secret between Cain and I. Since then we had moved on. We tied the knot, got a DNA test done on Orion. Cain is 99.99% his father. And now have a little girl on the way. Life was perfect. If I could I'd ask for a bigger heart because how much love I have in my life is making my current heart overflowing with adoration and devotion.

Bad things happened to me, but the good outweigh the bad in my book. I couldn't imagine my life any other way.

Cain:

My life was complete. I had a sexy ass wife who accepted every part of me, even the ones I couldn't accept myself yet. An adorable little boy that was 100% mine and I couldn't be prouder to call mine and a little girl on the way! Life is messy, gloriously imperfect and has some signs of wear and tear but that just indicates a well-loved, well-deserved life.

It all started with a trip to the store, met with a helping hand, grew with a kiss and ended with my hands bloody but the girl of my dreams wrapped in my arms.
