Chapter 11: the morgue

It was now 3 am and we were outside the morgue.

Alright you know the plan? Wednesday asked.

Yes, thing told me. i said

Alright let's go. Wednesday said.
After Wednesday screwed the vent open me and thing hopped in the vent.

I then opened the vent above the camera and let thing pass.
He then jumped on the camera and i threw him some black bubblegum.

He smeared it over the camera then i crawled further to the hall and jumped out the vent.

I opened the door for Wednesday to enter and me and thing went to the copy room to copy the files whilst Wednesday went to check for the body.

After awhile me and thing were copying the files when we saw a sheriff and the morgue manager walk in. i signalled to thing to hide and i ran to tel Wednesday.

After i told her i helped her hide in on of the freezers whilst i went in a body bag.

After the Sheriff and the manager left i heard thing walk in and open the freezer door.

After i heard Wednesday get out Thing didn't come to help me so i just had to yell at him:

Hey Thing i exist to!

Then i heard footsteps and when the bag opened i was about to hit thing when i saw Wednesdays face above mine.

I was flusterd and couldn't move my cheaks lighting up lightly.
She then told me to get up.

I snapped back to reality and got up and thanked Wednesday and gave thing a death stare.

After we got back to our dorm i was still a little flustered from the interaction.

But i didn't let Wednesday know.

Wednesday went into the bathroom to shower and get ready for bed.

I just took of my clothes in the dorm since she was in the bathroom and thing looked away.

After that i put on my workout clothes and went for a run.

Wednesdays pov:

After i got out of the shower and did my hair for bed Y/N wasn't there.

I asked thing were he ran of to but he refused to tell me because he gave him the death stare in the morgue.

I knew he could handle himself. But i was stil a little worried.

I just went to lay down in my bed and tried to forget about him.
After an hour of laying down he stil wasn't back.

Now i was starting to worry. I didn't want to give into my emotions but i stil did.

I got up from my bed and started putting on some clothes to go to look for him.

-in the woods-

Y/N pov:

I had been outside for about 1 hour. i normally only run for about 30 minutes but i saw the old gates mansion and decided to check it out. Maybe i could help out Wednesdays investigation.

But when i got in the monster showed up aswell so i was just hiding in a little allevator of some sort. But then i heard Wednesday yell my name in the distance and i heard the monster run down the stairs and heard it leave.

I knew he was going for Wednesday so i rushed out and saw Wednesday i called her name and waved her over looking to make sure the monster didn't see her.

After she got to the room i was in i scolded her for coming here.

WHY ARE YOU HERE?!

I was looking for you. she said

Why, didn't thing tel you i went for a run? i asked

No, he was still mad at you for giving him the cold shoulder in the morgue. she said

Wel he almost left me in a body bag. i said

I know that's why you're still breathing. she said giving me a smal smile.

After staying put for another 10 minutes we went back to our dorm.

Thank you. i said bluntly

for what? Wednesday asked

For caring about my safety. i said with a smile.
Go to sleep Y/N you need rest. she said.

Ok... see you tomorow. i said kinda sad.
