Obsession (सनक)

Bachpan...

A girl at around 9-10 years old was sitting on her knees playing with soil in her home's garden. From distance her parents could see their daughter was just enjoying her childhood or let's say her best time of life....

But in real... That girl was playing with a spider. The way she was teasing the spider turning it upside down with her bare hands making it struggle to move... It wasn't looking like a simple childhood fun. She had a weird psychic peaceful smile on her face while watching the spider struggle for his life...

She covered the spider with glass jar after turning him back to normal... Which made the spider to run quickly but couldn't due to the jar. He kept hitting the jar to get out of it... Running in between that space finding a space to get outside.. but eventually died struggling inside... The sound of his struggle till death made that girl smile like she is the happiest kid around.

She stood up holding the dead spider in her palm and went towards her parents...

"Mom... Dad I have a gift for you...", The girl said hiding her palm behind her back.

"What is it Haseena beta..?", Her Mom asked.

Just then HM put the spider near her parent's snacks and drinks... Her parents got shocked and angry right after the moment they saw the most disturbing scene right on food table...

"Enough is enough Haseena... Kabhii dogs.. kabhi cats aur aaj spider? How the hell you can enjoy killing someone...? Hame laga bachhi ho samaj jaogii sikh jaogii lekin har badhte din you are becoming heartless and mad!!!!", Her dad yelled throwing his newspaper on the table.

He came forward and took her one hand grabbing her inside the house while her mother followed back. HM's dad locked her inside her bedroom saying she will be taken outside only when she will promise that she won't repeat such heartless acts... Her mother tried to convince her dad telling him that this is not the right way to teach something to their daughter. But he was too stubborn to listen to anything....

HM's parents waited for almost more than 48 hours but the latter gave no response to them. When they got worried about her haven't eaten anything and what if something might have happened to her... They rushed towards her room and opened it searching for HM worriedly.

Both went near the balcony of her room and got almost scared to death with what they saw... HM who was just a 10 years old kid... Had a collection of the most dangerous insects caged in different jars... They saw HM was enjoying their noises of struggling to get out of the jar with a wide smile while sipping on her juice... They both shared a worried and fearful look and then looked back to their daughter who was now looking at them with the same smile she gave them in the morning....

"Mom... Dad...Meet my entertainment...", HM said giggling as if all of this is fun for her.

After a month her parents observed HM doing lots of things which were not normal for a 10 years old kid. She had no friends to play with.. As she always used to beat them for weird reasons... such as why the girl have oil in her hairs... why the boy not giving her turn for batting... for this silly childhood's reasons she used to broke several bones of those kids living around her to which whole society closed their doors for her.

After confirming that their kid might have some serious issues, HM's parents sent her to mental asylum  where doctor diagnosed her issue and told her parents that HM will have to stay in asylum till she will get herself out of this psychic behavior.
