𝑫𝑰𝑨𝑴𝑶𝑵𝑫 had been walking with the others for a few minutes not saying a thing and it was awkward throughout the walk to the basketball court.
she was waiting for someone to atleast say something funny , or ask questions about the awkward quietness atleast.
"so what's your name?"one of the other girls questioned breaking the awkwardness making them all look at diamond.
"diamond , how about y'all?"she responded asking the same question back pulling out her phone to text her brother that she was making her way to the basketball court.

"im dd , that's adot , dede, jayracks and jennaya."dd answered making diamond nod.
"so you moved here? cause i ain't never seen you in this area."jennaya asked before stating something.
"i use to live here like 2 years ago but i moved, i just moved back here yesterday though."diamond responded making them nod.
"you look like someone i recognize from somewhere , what school you use to go to before you moved."dd asked taking a hit from his blunt and passing it down.

"y'all could talk right now again , he in the basketball court right now."jayracks said pointing to ddot who was playing with two other boys and diamonds brother.
"i don't know about thattt."diamond said laughing making them smile and laugh at what dd said after her response.
"aww look who scared noww."dd said making her side eye him while they laughed , before her brother , ddot and one other boy came up to them.
"hey nana."marcus greeted his younger sister before handing his phone to her which she held it for him.
"hey mar mar."she responded making him side eye her and push her head back.
"you know marcus?"jayracks asked looking at her making everyone look at her.
"that's my sister."marcus answered for her before dribbling away making one of the boys she didn't know the name of follow him and try to guard him from throwing into the hoop.
"you ain't tell me you was marcus's sister."dd said nudging her a little bit to the side.
"my bad i guess."diamond said before they turned to ddot who was standing Infront of them dabbing up and hugging everyone greeting them except diamond.
"ddot you know that girl you use to like in middle school??"jayracks said making him nod.
"yeah why?"he asked looking at her.
"you remember her name?"adot asked making him shake his head before trying to remember it.
"dia , diamond?"he said making them nod their heads.
"what you thought about her again?"dd asked making them all smile except diamond.
"she was mad cute , we went on facetime a couple of times and it was mad fun , everytime when i saw her i would bug her and follow her around and she was mad fun to be around but she moved though , hope she good though."ddot said before running back to marcus to help one of the other boys.
"just wait for marcus to call your name then watch."adot said before going with ddot , marcus and the other boys.
a few minutes passed by of the girls talking , she soon learned the other boys name and two other girl came named eva and anastasie and the girls were now talking while watching the boys play basketball before marcus's phone started ringing , showing it was his girlfriend calling him.
"MAR MAR YOUR GF CALLING YOUU."diamond yelled as he dunked in the hoop before going over to diamond.
not believing her thinking she was lying just to let one of the other boys make a free throw in the hoop when he wasn't watching.
"diamond i swear if you lying-"marcus said before getting cut off by ddot.
"diamond?"ddot asked before adot , dd , jennaya , jayracks and dede started smiling.
"yeah that's my sister name , nana just a nickname."marcus said taking his phone and answering it to talk to his girlfriend waking away so no one could hear him.
"yo you moved back??"ddot asked diamond looking at her.
"i moved back just yesterday."diamond answered while dd started jumping like a little kid making diamond side eye him.
"cool.."ddot said before marcus got off the phone giving it to diamond and they went back to playing basketball.
𝑫𝑫𝑶𝑻 didn't know what to say anymore cause he just couldn't hug her it's been like a few years since that and he didn't exactly miss her like that.
but knowing she was back made sure he was atleast gonna try and get to know her better then when they was in middle school , they were kids back then so it was different from now.
and it wasn't like they were just gonna kiss just from seeing each other they hardly even remember each other like that considering both of them had changed and they weren't the same little kids from 2 years ago.
