it had been a few days since they talked and diamond was practically the reason because she was ignoring him.
and literally none of her friends got why but some knew she was just probably trying to avoid her feelings for him and that was right.
but would she admit it to herself?
no , she would just try to push it away diamond couldn't think nobody could like her like that.
and by the way her old friend group had betrayed her and used her she just felt more and more like ending it everyday.
but then she found peace in her new friends that treated her amazing and spent every time making her feel valued.
and just by getting that sort of attention by ddot made her feel better then anything.
and something in her stomach just gave her that feeling like it was more.
but she didn't want to ruin her friendship with him over some dumb feelings she thought to herself.
so that's why she was basically pushing him out instead of being a big girl and talking about it.

diamond had sat at her lunch table with notti since they were the first to get there food and were talking then a presence caused them to stop talking.
" yo diamond?" a voice spoke and she froze.
she did not want to be talking to him , but she kinda did but she didn't.
" yeah?" she responded trying so hard not to look in his eyes.
" let's talk." he demanded and she furrowed her eye brows.
" about what?" she asked and that's when notti left wanting them to have there talk.
" us , you've been avoiding me." he replied and she shook her head.
" no i haven't." she said and he rolled his eyes.
" yes you have , you ain't been replying to my texts and when you see me you walk away , this the only time I've talked to you and you respond actually." he stated and she sighed.
" okay let's talk." she sighed and he took nottis spot that was next to diamond before he left.
" soo , why u avoiding me?" he asked and she put her phone down fiddling with her hands.
" i don't want to keep feeling this way." she muttered and he furrowed his brows.
" feeling what way?" he asked and she sighed looking up at him.
" every time we talk and stuff or hang out i get these feelings in my stomach and i know exactly what they mean but i don't want to ruin our friendship just because of that." she spoke truly and ddot raised an eyebrow.
" so .. your basically saying .. that you like me?" ddot asked and she rolled her eyes.
" no i hate you." she said sarcastically and he flicked her forehead.
" why you ain't just tell me straight up then." ddot said and she looked at him blankly.
" didn't you just hear me say i ain't want to ruin our friendship over my feelings , i ain't know if you liked me back or nothing like that." she replied and he looked at her.
" you ain't see the way I've been acting around you and you've been thinking that , i dead like you too diamond , but you gotta communicate with me too." he stated and she nodded.
" we'll ? is we together or no." she asked and he laughed at her.
" yes we together." he replied and she hugged him causing him to hug her back.
" my bad for not telling you."
