Son has a reputation at being very below average, when it comes to cooking. You've seen it with your very eyes too. The only thing you can say, is he definitely tries. He hates seeing you break your back trying to make a meal for the both of you.
That's exactly why, he decided to try again. While you were asleep, very early in the morning. His legs swift out of the bed but freezes as he hears you move around the bed sheets. Somehow, everything he did, sounded so loud like the door, the floor and even the stairs creaked.
The task seemed fairly easy. Going for pancakes, as your first ever breakfast wasn't the best idea but really, if it's for you, he would do anything. Quite literally anything.
He started by putting the dry ingredients as the recipe says, and adds the liquids. He delicately places the eggs on the counter but the floors are slightly slanted causing them to start rolling away.
He a soccer player for goodness sake, his reflexes are better than most fighters. His fingers wrap themselves around the egg, untouched by the ground. A feeling of relief sparked around his body.
After some time, everything was done the pancakes looked just as the picture. Just in time, you tippy toe down the stairs and he see a sweaty Son sprinkling candies on a plate of delicious looking pancakes.

He pulls the chair for you and sits along with you.
'Go on'
You stab the fork on them and you shove it in your mouth. You're so tired, you don't even want to know what you're putting in it.
You moan and nod in appreciation.
He leans back and smirks.
'I told you I cooked good, you wouldn't believe me'
