Farkle hasn't been in school for almost four days. It was Friday now. Riley was worried that Devon and his friends did something to him. Riley was sitting at her desk putting the finishing touches on her English essay when she heard a knock on her bay window.
She looked out towards her window and saw that it was Farkle. It was about ten o clock at night. She could have her friends come in through her bay window until eleven. She lets him. "Shh, be quiet, auggie is sleeping." Riley tells him as she shuts and locks her window.
"Sorry, riles" Farkle tells her sheepishly as he sits on her bed. He lets out a big sighed. Riley notices he hasn't looked at her as he kept his head down. "Farkle, what's wrong? Look at me."
Farkle makes eye contact with the dark hair brunette as tears swelled up in her eyes. Farkle had a busted lip, a slight bruise under his left eye. it didn't look that bad since it looked like it was starting to heal. Farkle hugged the girl in front of him comforting her. Riley let's go as she laughed. "I'm supposed to be the one comforting you. Look at me crying." Farkle laughs slightly as he shrugged his shoulders. It didn't matter to him, he would take a infinite years amount of pain if that meant that Riley was forever going to be safe. He would in a heartbeat.
"So, what happened?" Riley asked him. Farkle sighed remembering what happened on Monday after school. "Devon and his friends tried to jump me after school on Monday" Riley didn't say anything as she knew that was why he didn't come to school all this week.
"Yeah, they caught me, but I was expecting it though. Devon just wanted to fight me but long story short, he was losing and Peter, Gil and Finn jumped in." Riley sat in silent as she was registering the information. "Lucas, Charlie and Zay came up towards Finn, Gil, Peter and took care of them." "Are you okay?" Riley asked him. "Of course, I'll be back to school on Monday." Riley sits in silence. "Riley, it's not your fault. Devon and his minions are disgusting people that should be in prison for harassing you." Riley sighs as she looked up at Farkle. "You got hurt because of me." Farkle grabbed Riley by her hands gently pulling her towards me. He slightly pecked her on the lips. "I would take an infinite amount of pain if that would mean you would be safe, guaranteed." Farkle kissed her on the forehead. "I don't regret standing up for you as you've done for me."
"You still took a beating for me" "And I'll take more for you, always" Riley pecked Farkle on the lips. Farkle kissed her on the lips back as his face turned a slight pink.
Hope you all liked this chapter. It's short I know. I didn't really have anything else planned for this besides Farkle getting beat up.
