4. Lola and Rhys

Lola

I hear the door open, I open my eyes to see Rhys shirtless with grey joggers on. I sit up as he gets closer to the bed. "Lola... I can't stop thinking about you..." He sits on the side of the bed and strokes my hair. 
"Rhys, we shouldn't be doing this..." I tell him, slowly getting closer to him. 
"I know, I know." We both lean into each other and- 

*Cries*

I'm pulled out of my sleep. I shake my head clearing the dream I just had. I can hear Lily crying next door, I quickly turn on the light and head to her bedroom. She's looking up from her bed with tears. "Bad dream." She tells me. 
"It's ok, it's not real, you're safe here." I tell her. 
"Can you stay?" She hiccups, I nod. The door opens and I think my dreams are some sort of witchy shit because Rhys walks in shirtless with grey joggers on. "Daddy, I had a bad dream." Lily says, he walks over and smiles at her. 
"It's ok, it's not real." He tells her. 
"Lolly said the same thing." Lily says looking at me. 
"Her name is Lola, Lily." Rhys tells her. 
"I like Lolly." She says back, I smile at her and then look at him. 
"Thank you, you can go back to bed, you need to sleep." He tells me. 
"So do you." I tell him. 
"She will fall asleep in 5 minutes." He tells me. 
"Ok, night Lily." I wave at her. 
"Bye Lolly." She waves back. 

The next morning, Marie woke me up and taught me how to use the shower and whilst I was showering, she made my breakfast. I walked downstairs and into the dinning area where my dad, Rhys and Lily were eating their breakfast. "Lolly!" Lily squeals and waves her hands. 
"Sleep well?" Rhys asked. 
"Yeah great, thank you." I smiled. I sat down and Marie placed my pancakes down, I was so happy to hear her say "Rhys said you can have anything for breakfast." Because pancakes instantly came to mind. I watched Rhys help Lily eat her bowl of cereal and him checking every spoonful to make sure she didn't put too much on. 
"Which car do you want to drive back to yours?" Rhys asked my dad. 
"The Ferrari." My dad smiled. Rhys has a Ferrari?! I mean I know he's a billionaire but it's all so new.
"Yeah... no." Rhys laughed. 
"Well it was worth a try." My dad smiles. "I'll take the Tesla." Rhys nods. 

Before we left I said goodbye to my dad and Lily and Rhys and I headed off to school. "Put your number in my phone, then I can text you everything you will need for this weekend." Rhys says passing me the phone. I put in my number and put in my name (Lola - The Best Babysitter ever) in and smile. "What are you smiling about?" He asks.
"Nothing." I tell him, he laughs and shakes his head and pulls away. 

"What are we doing here?" I ask as he pulls up to Starbucks. 
"Getting coffee. Do you want one?" He asks. 
"Oh um yes please." I tell him. 

He jumps out of the car and the five minutes later come back with two coffees. "Here you go." He smiles passing me the coffee. 
"Thank you."
"About last night... I'm sorry you had to see Emalia talk like that and I'm sorry I wasn't appropriately dressed last night." 
"It's ok, it's your house." I smile at him, sipping my coffee. "Does Emalia always talk about Lily in that way?" I ask, he sighs. 
"Yeah. My relationship with Emalia went downhill after I sold the company and it effected the way Emalia treated Lily." 
"I'm sorry." I tell him. 
"You apologise for a lot of things." He smiles.
"Sorry- I mean..." He laughs. 
"Quickly finish your coffee, we have to get to school." He tells me. 

The entire school day was ok, Beth was still putting all her attention into Jax, I kind of miss her to be honest. "Class dismissed, have a lovely day guys." Rhys said. 
"Oh Lola?" Reed says behind me. 
"Mhm." I say turning to him. 
"Tony asked if you would meet him after class, he wants to talk." 
"Oh um, I can't I'm busy." I lie. 
"Ok I'll let him know." Reed says leaving. 
"Bye Mr Owens." I wave at Rhys. 
"Bye Lola." I say leaving.
