MAX HAD CALLED an emergency MAN meeting. No Ginny, no Gwen, just her, Abby and Norah. Her house, her bedroom, doors locked, curtains down.

"Okay, will you tell us what's going on?" Abby asked Max who sat down crossed crossed on her bed.

"Yeah, I think I left the oven on" Norah replied as she literally thought she left it on. Max looked at her two best friends. "Is it about Sophie?" Norah asked with concern and Max shook her head.

"Then what is it Max?" Abby asked. "You can talk to us"

"Ginny had sex with Marcus" Max confessed, both were shocked at the news, well one was, other was pretending.

"B-but Marcus loves Gwen doesn't he?" Abby asked in disbelief.

"Forget that, Ginny had sex with Marcus?" Norah asked again as if it were foreign words coming out of Max's mouth. She couldn't believe it. "Max, I'm so sorry"

"Don't be, She fucked up" Max said in anger as she felt tears fill her eyes. She felt betrayed, so betrayed, she felt used, as if Ginny used her to be close to Marcus. Like their friendship wasn't real. "Not only that, she sent that dirty picture of her to him too"

Norah gasped while Abby made a face of disgust. "Okay that's gross" Abby said as Norah placed an arm around Max.

"I know! And I edited it for her!" Max groaned out as she rubbed her hands over her face in anguish. It's one thing to feel betrayed by a lover, it's another to be betrayed by a friend.

"Oh Max" Norah said as she continued to rub Max's shoulder.

"What do we do?" Abby asked. "Do we confront her?"

"I can't do that, not with the show being so close" Max pointed out. She wanted to give this performance her all, opening show, most important besides the last one.

"So we pretend to be her friend?" Norah suggested and Max shook her head.

"I can't do that without wanting to punch her in the face" Max said in a serious tone and Abby agreed.

"Same"

"Then we ignore, out of sight out of mind" Norah said and the group agreed, but the last thing was, what about Gwen.

"What about Gwen?" Abby asked. MAN might have not been so close with Gwen, but she was their honorary member, they loved her just as much as they loved one another.

"She can't know" Max said quickly.

Norah was confused. "Why not?" She asked. "Wouldn't it be better for her to know?"

"She just told me she told Marcus she loves him" Max confessed and although all of their hearts swelled at the good news, the remembered, he had sex with Ginny while loving another girl. Betrayal.

"We have to tell her Max" Abby said softly and Max disagreed.

"No!" She exclaimed. She loves Gwen, and Gwen loves her, they may not be so close to where they know every little detail about each other, but that didn't make their love any less.  "Gwen's shouldn't hear it from us, she should hear it from him"
