"You know the way to a pirates heart!" a Luffy fanfic

The first journey: straight to Logue town!

Logue Town, The famous town where Gol D. Roger, the pirate king was beheaded in front of a live audience. The day was brisk and the clouds showed signs of a clear sunny day today. The slight smell of the food and polish in the antique shops, Just the nostalgia you needed. You window-shopped the following stores, staring at the useless items on the podiums. Little lights framed each little trinket. one caught your eye, It was a skull covered in jewels and small pieces of metal rimmed each carefully placed jewel, This catches your attention. You would go inside the store, looking around at all of the items but only one was really on your mind. You pull out a coin bag, walking to the register trying to make some sort of small talk. 

"So, does every store around Logue town sell hidden relics like yours does? honestly, I think it's amazing that history is hidden and sold in a common area like this."
the man at the register let out a long and audible sigh as his dusty eyes drifted to meet your hopeful gaze. He tilted his head just slightly.
"Are you going to purchase something or are you going to keep talking."
He leaned on the counter holding eye contact with you. you nod now looking at the clerk in his eyes. "oh yes but it does always help to get to know the seller before you buy, y'know?"

You turn around going to the spot at the window where you first saw the skull. you grab it doing a quick 360 turning to the clerk. "this, this here I want to buy this. it might be expensive so take this bag of beris." the clerk looked at the bag with a small fit of shock. "go ahead just know that I don't do returns!" he would smile holding the bag to his cheek rubbing it up and down just slightly drooling at the sight of the bag. after exiting the store you lift the skull up to get a bitter sight of all that was on it, you stick it in a compartment in your backpack starting to look for the next store to check out. boy was this hard, nothing ever really comes into sight immediately but when it does its always a good item to spot in the many places in Logue town.

Still very focused on where to go next, you completely miss the yelling sounds coming your way. just your luck that when you look up you're immediately knocked down by a speeding black haired boy, he stops looking back at you laying on your back, you Immediately sit up turning around covering your face in embarrassment. "Watch where you are going you- you ABSOLUTE I-" he sticks his hand out to you giving you a playful giggle. "that was quite a fall are you okay?" you let out an audible sigh 'is this kid an idiot, he's the one that knock me over...' you take his hand as he tugs you up onto your feet. "I'm fine." you brush off your legs looking away from him to see if anyone else was coming your way at that speed.

"I'm Luffy! and I'm going to be king of the pirates but uh.. the marines are kinda on my tail right now. hehe.." So he's just as stupid as he looks...  Maybe he hit his head just as hard as you did when he ran into you. You give him a blank stare. "King of the pirates? are you being serious or are you just joking here." He smiled "As serious as I'll ever be!" He turned his hat just slightly before hearing the yelling again he would grab your hand and start running. 'This boy must be insane!? Why is he taking me with him!?' You look back seeing a large man with grey hair chasing the both of you. almost as if your legs gained their own mind you picked up speed running ahead of Luffy. He looked at you and laughed, now running at the same speed as you. "Hahaah! that's the spirit run!" he looked back at the big marine chasing the both of you and stuck his tongue out. you're running from a marine with a looney kid who says he is going to be the king of the pirates. You look at Luffy while you run, he looks hopeful. although you are now a criminal of the law, you run with him keeping up and giving a small smile too. you have a feeling this is just the beginning of a long adventure deeper into Logue town.
