I was in the cafeteria with my friends as I kept thinking about what happened earlier this morning.
"You ok, man?" John asks and I look at him "you seem lost in thought"
"I'm just thinking of things" I said as I grabbed my lunch.
"About what?" John asks.
After paying for my stuff I went to our table and John arrived a few seconds later.
"I saw something"
"What is it?" Julie asks as she sits next to John.
"Spit it out, man" John says.
"I think I found my mate"
John gasps and Julie spits out her drink and coughs.
"Breath" John says to Julie and she nods "are you sure?" He looks at at me.
"My wolf yelled it out in My head"
"When did this happen?" Julie asks.
"It was after the bell rang for 1st period " I said.
"What happened?" John asks.
"Well, I was lost in thought over my mate when all of a sudden I bumped into someone and there he was on the floor picking up his stuff and I helped pick up my stuff as well and hand him his stuff"
"So your mate is a male" Julie says and I nod "what is he?"
"Human" I rub my face "how am I going to get him? Humans don't feel the sparks until after their claimed"
"Maybe go talk to your parents" Julie says "wasn't your mom human before your dad changed her into a werewolf"
"That's right" I said and I was about to leave when all of sudden I saw Dylan walk into the cafeteria "or I'll just wait"
I then leave my friends and go to Dylan.
"Hello" Dylan says.
"Hello" I said "aren't you a bit late for lunch?"
"I got lost along the way" Dylan says "I guess I missed lunch"
I then heard his stomach growl.
"Come with me"
I then take him to the lunch line and told the lunch ladies that he was new and got lost and they look at me.
I then showed them my red eyes to show them I'm an Alpha and they did what I told them to do.
After that we walked to a table and we sat down.
"Wow" Dylan says "you sure have a way with people"
"I do have a way with people"
"And I'll pay you back for paying for my lunch" Dylan says "even though that wasn't necessary"
"I don't mind at all"
As I watch him eat we talk and laughed about random things.
But when the bell rings that means that it was time to go back to class.
Once school was over I got into my car and drove to the Pack House.
When I get there I parked my car and run inside and go look for my parents.
I then found their scent and it was in the office and so I ran there.
When I get there I open the doors 🚪 and they look at me.
"What's the rush, honey?" Mom asks.
"I need to ask you guys something"
"What is it?" Dad asks.
"Well, I have good news and bad news" I said "which one do you want to hear first?"
"We better hear the good news first" mom says.
"Go ahead son" dad says.
I take a deep breath "I found my mate"
My mom gets excited and runs to me and hugs me.
"That's fantastic, honey" mom says.
"Congrats son" dad says.
"Thanks"
"So what's the bad news?" Mom asks as she calms down.
"My mate is human"
"Oh" they both said.
"What's wrong with that?" Mom asks.
"Dear" dad says walking to her "if his mate is human. Then that means his mate can't feel the mating bond or the sparks that we feel"
"Well, you got me when I was still human" mom says "how did you do it?"
"I went slow and got you to trust me before I told you about my secret" dad says.
"See" mom says and looks at me "don't rush it and take things slow and then after some time later, you tell him"
"Ok"
After that I went for a run and let my wolf take control.
