"Well then, We can start the feast!" Greywarrior, the oldest of the army, laughted.

Now that they were finally together, they prepared some food and drinks. After just an hour, half of the division was completely drunk, dancing and playing cards.

Tecchou and his friends ( Redwing, Lavender and Goldenheart ) decided to keep away from the drunkards and went to the meadow they held all the dragons, where they could take their battle masks off and get some air.

Lavender and Goldenheart played around with their dragons while the other two watched them from afar. The oldest's attention wandered to a dark drake with shiny spots moving in the background. Starhunter walked towards them with his beast on his side, training helmet still on but in a more casual clothing.

Redwing gasped and moved a bit back. They still had normal masks to cover most of their faces ( as it is a century old tradition to dont take their masks off when hanging out with comrades outside of battle ) , but the red haired boy was always nervous of others seeing his face.

"Hey, is it a problem of I sit down a bit with you? Its much quieter here..." Starhunter stopped next to them.

"Of course." Tecchou imideadly replied, his partly covered cheeks heating up. "But isnt that mask uncomfortable? You can take it off if you want."

"Uh- oh... yes, I will." The boy moved a bit away and changed his helmet to a more casual mask.

When he turned back, he seemed to be more at ease, sitting down on the grass next to them. He still wore a hood to cover most of his white hair, but Tecchou still got a peak of his neck and jawline. Mist -Tecchou remembered the creature's name- laid down next to it's rider.

"Can I...?" Goldenheart asked, pointing at the dragon.

"I'll allow it..." Starhunter sighed.

The trainee happily got closer and pat the beast's head, to which the dragon replied with lifting it's head up to get more caressing and breathed a bit of smoke out. Mist was quite the scary dragon, but the boy didnt bat an eye and hug the drake's neck.

"He really is brave, huh." The white haired dragoneer huffed.

"Where do you think he got the name from?" Tecchou smiled.

Starhunter's eyelashes twiched a bit, smile slowly dissapearing from his face. He always had his eyes closed, one more thing to make him more mysterious. He brung his knees up to his chest.

"Dragons are beasts to ride, not friends to work with." He turned away.
