Mom left early this morning to go on a Carnival Cruise with Katanga and Sierra, it's just me and Malik at home alone until Sunday and I cook myself some breakfast!!! Then I watch the news in my bedroom, and I found out that the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin passed away and I just couldn't believe it, I got call my Granny Dollie!!! My mother love Aretha Franklin!!!

Today we are remembering 18-time Grammy Award Winner and Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin who passed away yesterday at the age of 76, Malik cook dinner last night and he's cooking dinner again tonight!!!

It was 6:30 in the evening, I went to the kitchen and see Malik cooking himself some grilled ham or bologna and cheese sandwich on the stove and I try to leave the kitchen and he says Wait, and he says cook your something to eat!!! So, I took out some tilapia and some fries, I seasoned my tilapia, battered it and I fried it!!!

Mom is on her way home so me and Malik decided not to cook lunch or Sunday dinner when she gets home!!! We want Cookout and I want to try their sweet tea!!! I got a double burger tray with fries and Cajun chicken wrap and a huge, sweet tea!!! They have her homegoing celebration of life two weeks later at Greater Grace Temple and they live-streamed on BET, CNN, HLN.
