Dear Diary,
Yesterday, my mom and I went to church and came to the altar for altar call with Katanga by our side, so they came to pray for my hysterectomy surgery, and I was crying, mom was in tears and Katanga comforted me and my mother and my Auntie Marcia did talk to me as I prepare for my hysterectomy surgery and I hugged my mommy and my mommy got the guardianship last week!!! Today is the day, I was admitted to the hospital and got a room after my doctor appointment with Dr. Dillon because I got to have surgery procedure called total hysterectomy and my mom is off all this week from work so she can spend the night at the hospital with me all this week, they did the CT scan!!! My favorite cousin Katanga came and she brought my mommy some KFC and the hospital staff got dinner ready for me and it's meatball pasta and after I change into a hospital gown, we watched the Atlanta Hawk vs. LA Clippers and finally got a hospital room with a bathroom at 1 in the morning!!! Tuesday February 9, 2024 -The next day, I'm on a clear liquid diet, they're doing the abdominal total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, and I have to drink laxative liquid with sprite or sprite zero to help empty my bowel before my hysterectomy!!! That's means I won't be having anymore menstrual periods and mom don't got buy no more pads!!! I took a shower using special cleanser to reduce the risk of infections, my mother help me wash my stomach and I can't eat or drink after midnight and we did watch NBA on TNT double header and call it a night. Wednesday February 10, 2024 - Today is the day, my hysterectomy surgery day, I'm in recovery room ready for my surgery with my mom by my side, they put IV antibiotics on me, compression stockings on both of my legs to prevent blood clots and put a tube catheter to drain urine!! I say mom, where are you going be and she says I'll be right here, and the doctors took me to the operating room to the surgery table, they put general anesthesia on me and start the hysterectomy then they told my mom and said surgery went well, they did remove the uterus, cervix, ovaries, and fallopian tubes!!! I was in recovery room recover then they return me back to the room with my mom!!! Thursday, they did remove the tube catheter and I'm still on clear liquid diet and start walking again so Mom walks me around the hallway and Mom did walk me to the bathroom so I can use the restroom. Then on Friday, I'm back eating solid food and Malik is on the way to the hospital before mom have to go to the bank then to the courthouse. While Mom went to the bank, Malik keep a eye on me and I ask him I need to used the restroom so he walks me to the bathroom so I can use the restroom and mom return from the courthouse and brought Malik something to eat and after Malik left, I start walking one more time so Mom walks me around the hallway!! And they bring dinner out, it's BBQ sandwich with potato wedges and I'm going home tomorrow morning!!! We watch in the heat of the night, let's make a deal, NBA basketball games, The Waltons, let's make a deal and the price is right primetime and HGTV
