Jules pov-

I was waiting for Aj at our spot. It had been five minutes and I was hungry.

I tried to hang on a couple minutes but I couldn't take it anymore so I rustled through my bag and pulled out the plastic bag with the muffins in that my mum made that morning.

I pulled both muffins out and assessed them both very closely, making sure i  picked the biggest one and shoved it in my mouth, whilst putting the other one back in the bag for Aj.

If he ever shows up .

Another five minutes passed and still no Aj.

As much I would like to of stayed and wait for him, I was making myself anymore late then I already was.

i grabbed my bag and started walking to class.

"Jules what are you doing out here?", a voice called from behind me.

i turned around to see Atlas Aj's older brother.

"nice to see you to atlas", i said walking slowly allowing him to catch up with me.

"i'm sorry i just didn't take you for the type to skip class, especially on the first day", he said laughing.

"well i'm not, well wasn't until your brother decided to be late to meet me at our spot and well here we are", i replied kinda annoyed.

"yeah well I've always told you i'm the better brother to go out with", He said flirting with me.

one thing you should know about Atlas, He's a massive flirt, to be honest i think he has been since birth, must be the british in him.

"and i've always told you that i'm never gonna go out with either of you", i replied.

"see your lips are saying one thing now, but said a different thing when they were attached to mine a few weeks ago", He laughed.

"hey don't say that here you don't know who could hear, besides we were both drunk, it didn't mean anything", i blurted out a little more harshly then intended.

"yeah ok and jeez didn't realise your embarrassed about it", he said a little hurt.

"i'm not i just don't want Aj to hear", i admitted.

"oh so you finally caught on, took you long enough didn't it sweetheart", he laughed rapping his arm around me.

"what do you mean?", i asked confused.

"that Aj likes you", he told me.

"no he doesn't", i denied.

"have you not seen the way he looks at you with those puppy eyes, hoping your one day see him, the way he sees you", he said.

"Haha your funny", i said denying what he said, there is just no way Aj actually thought that, i know him to well, i would have noticed.

"come on Jules a part of you definitely knows, otherwise why wouldn't you want him to know we kissed?", Atlas asked

The truth is i don't know, it's not that i like him or anything Aj is like my brother, maybe Atlas is right a bit of me has a always thought that he likes me, hah no definitely doesn't.

"look i'd love to stay and chat but i really need to get to class", i said moving out from under his arm and walking towards one of the school buildings doors.

"i'll walk you", Atlas offered.

"wow Atlas Nystrom offering to walk me to class, are you sure your be able to go near one without having an allergic reaction", i teased.
