It was a cold snowy night, the 10th of October in Konoha. A portion of the village lay in shambles, with ninjas resting in any comfortable spot they could find. Konoha had just survived a devastating attack, suffering huge losses at the Hands (or rather Paws) of Kyuubi.
The fourth Hokage had been successful in sealing the Kyuubi into his 2 sons, with Naruto having the soul and 2 tails worth of chakra and Menma having 6 tails worth. Kushina had been given 1 tail worth of Chakra to increase her chance of survival.

1 Month later
The village had been up and running, thanks to the efforts of Hiruzen. Minato was busy at his house, seeing to it that the seals were working properly, and invested more time in Menma, to improve the seal so that Menma could efficiently utilize the corruptive chakra in the future, by applying multiple chakra purification seals as well as control and regeneration seals, so that the chakra would never run out nor harm his beloved son.
He also loved Naruto equally but never attempted to modify that seal as it contained the soul of the Kyuubi, which he didn't want to risk escaping.
"I AM THE MIGht-Ughhhh" A man was sent crashing out of the Namikaze Compound by Kushina. "SILENCE!!! Can't you see that the children are sleeping, you perverted mutt! Damn it Minato you had to invite Ero-Sennin" said Kushina, with a smile that was just too sweet to be true.
"WHY Youu..." The man lost his voice when red hair started lashing out behind Kushina. "Raise your voice again, will you?" a pan magically appeared in Kushina's left hand, while there was a knife in her right.
"Just pound the pervert and be done with it. I can't wait to see your cute children." Another woman spoke while entering the compound. It was the Slug princess Tsunade. The man quickly corrected himself when he sensed Minato coming over to check what the disturbance was. The man was none other than the Toad Sage Jiraya.
"Sensei, Tsunade-sama, how are you? Welcome to my house." Minato spoke out. The Namikaze compound was newly established, and this was the first time either Sannin visited it.
"We are fine Minato. How are you and Kushina, and hope my godsons are doing well as well." Jiraya spoke out, making sure to moderate his voice this time. While Minato led both of them to the living room, Kushina had gone upstairs and came back carrying both her children.
She handed one of them to Tsunade. The child had yellow spiky hair with crimson tips and violet eyes. " He is Naruto, the elder of the twins." The other baby had yellow spiky hair and blue eyes, almost like he was Minato's clone. " And this guy is Menma, the younger one." What was unique about these children was that they both had 3 whisker like marks on both sides of their cheeks.
The family was chatting away, and the topic of the conversation had turned to the Kyuubi, with Minato boasting how he had modified the Uzumaki 8 trigram seal, and that Menma could access the chakra.
Right then, there was a small burst of smoke on Jiraya's shoulder, out of which a small toad jumped and gave Jiraya a scroll. Reading the scroll, Jiraya spoke in serious tone, " Minato, Kushina, the elder toad had informed me about a prophesy when I was younger. It said that a youngin' who had an ancient curse, yet rightfully controlled it would be able to overcome any difficulties and would rise to save the world. Yet, his counter-part would interfere whenever possible to ensure that the child of prophecy would fail to save the world. I just received a message informing me that the elder toad had sensed the birth of the child of prophecy as well as his counterpart, some time back."
