Tutoring

Robin's POV
      
      "robin!" finn whispered while tapping on my shoulder when i was sleeping in math. " mm?" i mumbled back. "dont forget about tutoring later! ill come over at 3." he said. why is he excited....? only a crazy person would enjoy MATH. " yea, ill remember, dont worry. dont be late." i replied, as he muttered a "yes,sir" i laid my head back down on the table to sleep but the bell rang. ughhhh spanish....

Finney's POV

i walked to spanish class and found matty and matt staring me down. usually they'd run up to me and start to hurt me but they just stood there, not doing anything. they were whispering shit to each other but i couldn't be bothered anymore. I walked to spanish class and took a seat. The teacher was speaking so quickly i dont even know what he's talking about. i started to doze off and slept till end of class, which was recess. i packed my bag and walked to the door when my spanish teacher called out my name. "finney, can i talk to you for a minute?" sigh. "yea,sure.." i walked up to him.

"am i in trouble, sir?" i asked and he frowned. "if you dont pass finals, yes. Finney, your grades are dropping immensely.I know you are exceeding expectations in your other subjects but do not be complacent. If you do not do something about your spanish grades, you will have to retake 8th grade spanish, do you hear me?" he said sternly and i muttered a "yes,sir."

shit. retake 8th grade spanish? that's so embarrassing. i BETTER not be late to tutoring.

Robin's POV

I sat in the canteen and waited for finn with gwen next to me. I saw vance sitting with those assholes, but honestly i dont really care. he can be friends with who he wants, just dont get me involved.

i looked up from my tray to see finn walking my way. he looked upset? did the asshole mess with him again?

"yo finn, why the sad face?" i asked him. he kept quite and took a seat. he looked up at me and muttered "Mr Antonio said if i dont pass my spanish finals ill have to retake 8th grade spanish." "that's embarrassing!" gwen said, but not in a judging way, she said it in a voice that showed concern. " you better not miss tutoring then" i replied and shoved a spoon of pasta into my mouth. Finn sighed.

time skip to after school

Finney's POV

"hey,gwen. dont forget im going to robin's house later." i said to gwen and she replied " oh yea! but you'll be going home first right?" " yea." i replied." okay"

we reached home and i went to my room to pack my bag. i took out all my textbooks and replaced it with my spanish and math books and worksheets. the clock striked 2.45 and i left the house. it was a ten to fifteen minute walk so i think ill reach on time.

Robin's POV

i was cleaning the dining table when i heard the doorbell ring. must be finn.

i walked up to the door and opened it.

" hey, finn. come in." i said, as he smiled, stepping in, and i closed the door behind him. " woah, nice home!" he said. i smiled in response and sat us down on the dining table. "so which subject first?" i asked, while shuffling the books. Finn took a moment to think and replied, "we could start with math." " okay" i took out my math quizzes, revealing a bunch of Fs while doing so. "damn bruh. you suck suck." he said staring in awe. " shut the fuck up bruh you suck at spanish too" i replied while flipping the pages of my math textbook.

finn started explaining the solutions and methods, and i surprisingly listened. he really had the skill of teaching.

Before i even knew it, it was 5.

" hey, should we move to spanish? it's been 2 hours, im sure you're tired of stuffing math into your brain." he asked. i didnt even realise its 5. time flew so fast?? "yea,sure. let's eat first though. consider it a break" i replied to him. "oh, yea. sure!" he said and walked with me to the kitchen aisle.

" what should we eat?" i asked him. "i dont know, your house. you pick" "pizza?" "oh my god you read my mind" i chuckled and said, " okay ill order it online. we can start with spanish then when the pizza comes then we can have our break." "okay"

we walked to the table again to start with spanish.

"how much do you suck?"
- "alot"
" ¿Cuál es tu color favorito? ( what's your favourite colour?)"
-"huh?"
"reply in spanish"
-" uhh perritos calientes?? (uhh hotdogs??)"

i laughed at his reply. "HOTDOGS?" i asked, still laughing. " DIDNT YOU ASK ME WHAT I ATE FOR BREAKFAST??" he said in a defensive tone. "NO YOU IDIOT I ASKED YOU WHAT YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR IS" i said, and he replied, " OH,BLUE." "SPANISH." "AZUL."

"you dont suck that much. atleast you know your colours" i said to him, and he replied, "you bitch! i know more than just colours okay" he looked angry. like a cute angr— What. The. Fuck. did i just call a guy cute??? Am i gay?? no wtf thats weird.

i shook my head and said " okay lets continue" we went through a few more phrases, and he didnt actually suck that much at spanish.

"¿Cuál es tu día favorito de la semana? ( what's your favourite day of the week?)"
- "sábado ( saturday)"
"valid" i said, while smiling.
the doorbell rang and i went to go get it. it was the pizza we ordered. Me and finn tidied up the table as we put the pizza on the table. i went to get the plates while finn cut the pizza.

i went back to the table, sat down and grabbed a pizza. i looked up to see finn, also eating a pizza. he was quiet while eating and just looking down at his food. it was adorabl—

Finney's POV

i looked up from my pizza to see robin staring at me. but he wasnt staring at ME. he looked dazed out and his eyes were out of focus. "uhh robin?" i asked and he snapped out of it. " uh- yeah?" " u good?" "yea—yea."

we finished the pizza and cleaned the table as we continued with spanish tutoring.

Robin really knew how to make teaching spanish fun. i always sleep whenever someone tries teaching me spanish, but with robin i actually learn and enjoy it—

"yo finn, its 7.02. Its been 2 hours, do you want to stop? we can continue next tutoring lesson" he interrupted my train of thoughts, once again, like he always does.

"sure, i have to get home too." i said , while packing my bag.
-" oh,okay. ill send you home?"
"its good, i can go home myself"
-" nah ill send you home. hurry up"
i chuckled and continued to pack my bag.
