Robin's POV
( a week later )
I was waiting outside the school for Vance, but i saw finn walk up to me. " hey, who are you waiting for? " he asked me, pulling his bag strap over his shoulder cos it was slipping. " my friend, vance. he's new. " " oh. well, ill see you inside! " he said. i nodded and he walked off.
after a few minutes, i heard someone say, "yo, robs!" vance called out to me. "vance!" i replied. we did our handshake and we walked in.
"yo im late for math, ill see you in break!" i said, running off to math. " YOU BITCH! WHERE'S THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE?" he shouted out. "DOWN THE HALL TO THE LEFT" i replied, as i made the turn to the right.
i entered the classroom and mr johnson just sighed and continued back with teaching. is it just me or did he already give up with me.....?
i took a seat next to finn and he turned his head to me and said " why are you always late? " i grinned at his remark and said, " oh yeah tutoring. we talked about it last week but we havent done anything yet. when are you free?" he thought about it and said " i dont know, im gonna have to see."
we got back our quiz and i got another F. " i hope its soon. "
Finney's POV
Robin was constantly muttering "the fuck...." like he always did and i laughed. " Robin, all you have to do is square root it." his mouth formed into an O shape and did the rest of the questions. i cant say correctly though.. i tried to explain the rest of the questions he got wrong and he was actually paying attention. Then the bell rang and it was time for literature. I got up and waved robin goodbye and he smiled in response.
In literature
i walked into class and saw donna and walked to seat beside her. " hey finney " she said in a pretty smile. but it didnt make my stomach churn. am i losing feelings? " hey donna " i replied, smiling back.
literature and the other classes passed by quickly and soon enough, the bell rang for break.
Robin's POV
The bell for break FINALLY rang. i packed my bags and made my way to vance's class. I met him outside his class and we walked to the canteen to introduce him to finn.
"so why is everyone giving us dirty looks again?" vance asked. i sighed and replied " i walked out on the people they worship most " vance raised an eyebrow and said " you did that because...?? werent you popular in our old school?" "they were being an asshole to my friend. did what i had to" i said, walking faster to finn to cut the conversation short.
"finn, meet vance. vance, meet finney." i pointed to each other. " so are you finney or finn?" vance asked finn. " finney. robin just prefers calling me finn." finney replied. " so can i call you finn too?" vance asked. "no" i replied and took a seat opposite gwen.
matt walked past us and looked at finney and stood still.
Finney's POV
"keep walking, dipshit." robin spoke to matt, glaring as he spoke. but it was a glare that was in between the lines of i cant be bothered with you right now and fuck off. ever since robin joined the school and became my friend, my life had gotten better. i'm really thankful to have a friend like robin that actually cared.
Robin's POV
When matt left, finn was staring at his food and fidgetting with it. honestly sometimes i wonder about him. i was gonna ask if he's okay but he spoke. " oh yeah, robin, about tutoring. im free everyday except fridays. unless you come over, but does today after school sound good?" " me too, but i cant today. detention. tommorow?" i responded, and he replied "sure".
"so what's happening again?" vance asked and gwen added " yea, what's happening again?"
i was about to answer but finn did it for me. " me and robin decided to tutor each other math and spanish. if robin continues failing he'll drop to another class and if i fail, dad'll kill me."
"but didnt you get a 95 your last spanish test?" gwen asked again. " OH no, i edited it" " finney!" gwen said then turned to look at me. " teach him well, he cant speak or understand spanish to save his life." i chuckled as finn said, almost shouting, " HEY!"

heyyyyyyyyyy guyssss i MIGHT take like a two or three day break because im gonna need to sleep early. ( most likely wont because ) but if i do take the break, i promise ill make it up to u guys by writing two or three chapters a day when i get back 💤💤
also sorry for the boring and short chapter!!! it'll get more interesthing in the next chapter promise
also im sorry for the grammar mistakes in this and the previous chapters, like i said, i write the stories at 4am - 7am so my brain lags
