Climbing Mountians

Chapter 4

The train steamed on as they climbed up mountains and glided down the slopes. Thalia was asleep on Isa's shoulder as they cruised along a cliff. It was morning and breakfast had just been served. No one got any sleep due to the train's constant chugging and whistle blowing. The

train stop to the town where the Grand Couple lived was an hour away.

"Thalia, Isa we all got our weapons and everything right?"

"Yes. I cannot wait to see the Grand Couple. They were the ones who taught me everything. I would love to see their kindly old faces," Isa mused looking out the window. The train skidded to a halt as a pack of yaks crossed the railroad tracks.The train still began to chug up the mountain until it stopped at the town of Litica. "Last stop," yelled the conductor. Anna-Marie,Isa,and Thalia jumped off train. They still had a ways to go to the Grand couple.

"OK let's go we have track to cover," Anna -Marie commanded. The cabin was 2 hours away. The girls walked up the gravel road until they encountered a splendid cabin like palace in the cliff of the mountain.

"Is that the Grand couple's house?"Thalia trilled,"it's beautiful."

"Yes," Isa mused,"I remember coming here the house was absolutely splendid." Anna-Marie walked up the stairs to the grand door and rang the doorbell. It rang with deep and powerful force as an elderly man came and opened up the door.

"Hello, you must be Thalia, Isa, and Anna-Marie. I am the Grand Master." Anna-Marie couldn't believe her eyes this elderly old man who liked like he could snap like a twig was the most respected martial arts master.

An elderly woman came up next to him.

"Hello and I'm the Grand Mistress." Anna snapping out of her shock spoke with authority.

"We need to find all the people from my school,my family,and Mrs. Olgy."

"So impatient yet disciplined and serious," the Grand master stated.

"I'm sorry. I just...." Anna stammered feeling embarrassed for being so pushy.

"Do not feel embarrassed for how you feel. I can tell you are very disciplined young lady. You must be here for something why else would travel to the Himalayas."

"I need to find my family. You see I woke up in the gym and I have no recollection other than blurry memories. I need direction," Anna said with tears gathering in her eyes.

"Very well,come inside." The house was just as beautiful as it was outside. The fire fasted a welcoming glow. The mistress came out with a tray of tea and cakes.

"Please eat it will be your last time enjoying a fattening meal. We can tell you where your folks are but I need Anna and Anna only to come and see," Mistress said pulling Anna into another room.There was a clear ball which looked like just like another ornament on a school principal's desk.Anna touched the ball and it lit uprevealing a place in the jungle.

It was grainy and Anna couldn't make anything in detail out.

"Well then we saw a grainy picture and I believe it's from the Amazon crusader. She has come back for Mrs.Olgy and took everyone as well."

"But I don't understand. Mrs.Olgy said Ashe was too far away and she couldn't come back. It is too far."

"It's true what she said but I have a feeling that Minay overthrew princess Tang Re Pia. I know she probably made a mess of the whole jungle."

"Well I believe I can stop her and take back my family. Train me grand couple , your demands will be executed as you planned," Anna-Marie said her voice shaking.

"I will help as well. Anna cannot do this alone, me and Thalia," Isa demanded.

"Are you sure you want to drag Thalia into this?She is only 9 years old."

"I can handle it," Thalia mumbled. The Grand Master looked left and right.

"It is decided then. I want you girls up at 6:00 sharp. Be ready to train," said the Grand Master in an authoritative voice. The girls went up , realizing what they got themselves into.
