"Life is cruel. Of this I have no doubt. One can only hope that one leaves behind a lasting legacy. But so often, the legacies we leave behind... are not the ones we intended."

It wasn't long after that Y/N found himself waking up every so often to the whirring of engines and the air around him. His vision was blurry and he only woke up for moments at a time, but he was sure that he was being taken somewhere far from where he had been in Mistral.
For what felt like days, he was sedated over and over again, with an IV attached to his arm while he was strapped to a bed in the back of multiple vehicles.
First a car, then a boat, then a bullhead, and now some kind of military truck. The sedation had stopped a while ago and it was replaced with noise cancelling ear plugs and a blindfold over his eyes. His body had stopped shaking with fear a while ago as he now found himself despairing under the weight of what was happening.
It was freezing around him and the wind howled as the truck came to a stop. He could feel people walking around him as their heavy boots clanked on the metal material of the truck. His IV was forcefully ripped out and his bed was being pulled out of the truck. The bite of winter latched onto him, making his body resume the shaking he had stopped for any kind of warmth. With his hearing completely disabled, he could hear his bones creak, his blood pumping, every molecular movement of his body was being translated into a chorus of insanity.
That was, until he found himself thrown onto the floor, blindfold and headphones ripped off at the same time. His body barely had the strength to stand as he collapsed on the ground, barely able to think or look around as his head and body pounded with pain. His mind was bleary and he was having trouble breathing. Nothing was making sense, the room around him was black and all he saw was visages of people in white lab coats and others with some kind of white and blue armor. The thinking he was doing became too much as his body began to shutdown. The boy flattened against the floor, his head rolling around in a daze as his eyes fluttered between being open and closing.
"Ah...so this is the subject eh?" A creaky old voice called out from above Y/N. He could've sworn it had been the devil himself, with his wide demonic grin and eyes that turned up to an inhuman degree. The blurry visage of the man looked down on him, the thick rimmed glasses sticking out clearly from his face. "You must be Y/N! I doubt you can hear me, truly, but I welcome you to Gehenna! The Atlesian Kingdoms maximum security prison, built for the best of the worst!"
The words were barely audible as the older man slapped Y/N's cheek lightly, shining a small flashlight in his eyes to see if he was awake at all.
"Bah, you were all too rough with him. He's no use to me like this. Throw him in cell block six with subjects 987, 484, and 071. There should be an open spot there, I'll come by and do a health assessment test before the week is over." The man with the creaky voice called out to someone, most likely the guards around him. He then crouched back down, patting Y/N on the shoulder before he fully lost consciousness. "It is a pleasure to meet you Y/N Belladonna...once again, welcome to Gehenna. My name is Doctor Padraig Walsh! I go by many nicknames but the most common, and the one I'm sure you'll get acquainted with, is the Good Doctor. I look forward to....rehabilitating you dear boy. You and I are going to have an incredibly prosperous relationship! Rest up, you've got a long road ahead of you..."
His mind finally gave in and Y/N succumbed to the drugs and exhaustion. His stomach ached for something other than water while the headache pounded at him even from within his sleep induced stupor.
