Summary:

Dream looks for answers on his own but is unsuccessful, so he turns to the only person he think will be able to help.

It had been a tough couple of days. Dream had barely eaten, hardly slept, and was once again bent over a table, deeply engrossed with a book he had found about the nether and the creatures that inhabited it. He was having little luck though, and probably was making some of his friends pretty suspicious about why he's dropped everything to read up on the nether.

Were they really his friends anymore though? Sure they had stopped by, but not to see him. Not to ask how he's been or check on him after that last brutal battle. They only came by to tell him that they had a problem he needed to solve. Something having to do with Tommy and L'Manburg. Nothing that was of any interest to the admin. He was so sick of Tommy and L'Manburg and all the problems they brought with them. When he'd made it clear that he wouldn't be helping with the little problem, his "friends" got annoyed and stormed out.

Whatever, more time for reading. But the few books he was able to get his hands on were of almost no help.

There were a few mentions of piglins here and there and even fewer mentions of any types of courting or mating rituals, and even those mentions were little more than "They have detailed mating and courting rituals, though we are unsure what they are". Dream was starting to run out of options. There was little else he could do on his own, so he would have to get someone else involved. Someone who he trusted, or trusted more than others (which honestly wasn't much), and someone who would likely have this kind of information about hybrids, specifically piglin hybrids. Maybe even someone who knows Techno personally... There was only one person Dream could think of like that.

With a sigh he slammed the book shut. Taking a moment, he reaches out his arms, stretching the stiff muscles. *Pop* Clearly he had been crouched over for far too long if his arms were popping like this just from stretching. As he stood and slipped his mask onto his face, he thought to himself,

"Okay, time to go visit ol' Philza"

-Meanwhile in the Tundra-

"PHILLLLLLLLLLLL," Techno wailed. He wasn't injured or in dire need of Phil, he just enjoyed bothering the man. Much like a child bothering their mother just for the fun of it.

Philza, however, was not amused, giving little more than a glance to the hybrid sprawled across the couch before turning back to where he was making some lunch.

"PHILLLLLLLLZA MIIIIIINECRAAAAAAFT," Okay, he was starting to get fed up. "PHI-"

"OH MY GODS WHAT DO YOU WANT YOU INSUFFERABLE CHILD"

Techno gave a small grin at succeeding at annoying Phil, but the grin quickly fell when the man's words sank in, "Hey! I'm not Tommy, don't call me a child!" He punctuated his point with a very manly, very grown up pout.

Phil just chuckled, turning back to their lunch, "what's the matter Tech?"

This snapped Techno back to the situation at hand. His face schooled back into his tried and true neutral and he straightened up from where he had been slouching. Now if he could just figure out how to explain to Phil what had been bothering him... This may have been a bigger struggle than he'd originally anticipated. "I don't know Phil, I've got these weird feelings in my chest ever since that battle. I got all... you know... you know how I get after a big battle like that,"
