Chapter 5 Pt. 1

Shirley's P.O.V.

"Ummm Tito...I thought that was for "The Invisible Toothless One!", Michael said as he and everyone burst into laughter as Tito chased Michael. Jackie walked up to me, embracing me in a hug. "I've always wanted to meet you and I couldn't be happier that you're dating my brother! I already see you as like a sister in my eyes!", he said as he gave me a warm hug. I was so touched by everyone's loving embrace. Michael's mother, Katherine, then walked up to me and gave me a long, warm, loving hug. "You are such a beautiful young lady. You and my son look beautiful together! I hope we can spend more time together in the future doing girl stuff.", she said as she gave me a wink. Finally, Michael's father, Joseph, walked towards me and suddenly it got very quiet. Michael watched me with concerned, cautious eyes. "So, you're dating my son?", Joseph asked me with serious eyes. "Yes sir...I'm his girlfriend.", I answered humbly. My heart still soared at the sound of that word. He turned to Michael, who was biting his lip furiously at the intensity of the moment. "Well, I only have one thing to say to you!", Joseph said as Michael hung his head down. "Good pick, son! She seems like a fine, beautiful, young lady! She reminds me so much of your mother. A beautiful pearl!", Joseph exclaimed with a smile. Michael popped his head up, totally shocked, obviously expecting the complete opposite. He embraced his father as everyone was shocked as hell but still happy at what theirs ears heard. "Thanks Joe. I appreciate it and I love you!", Michael said  as everyone awwed the precious moment. "I love you too, son.", Joseph replied, hugging Michael back. I then walked beside Michael and hugged Joseph. "So, when am I gonna hear this lovely young lady sing?", Joseph asked. Michael then had a big smile on his face and so did everyone else. Hmmm...
