Chapter 4

Someone roughly turned me over.

It was a dark haired man. His eyes were dark and scary. I had never been so afraid.

"Please, let me go." I begged as I tried to wriggle out of his grasp. But he was too strong.

I was held down on the cold hard ground, by my throat. His grip was so hard, that I almost couldn't breathe.

"I'm not done with you yet." He said with an evil grin on his face.

"Please." I whispered, with tears rolling down my face.

"Shut up!" He hissed, tightening his grip around my neck.

He roughly ripped my dress, with his free hand.

I closed my eyes.

"That's no way to treat a lady." I heard a familiar voice say.

Suddenly the weight of the man lifted.

I quickly opened my eyes and sat up.

In front of me stood Klaus with blood all over his face.

His eyes were dark and his teeth looked like fangs. I looked around and saw the lifeless body of the man who attacked me.

His neck was covered in blood.

I quickly backed away from Klaus. "Please, don't hurt me." I whispered in panic.

Klaus's face changed.

Klaus walked to me and kneeled by my side. My heart was pounding so hard, I thought it might jump out of my chest.

"I won't hurt you. You're safe now." He said softly.

"What are you?" I asked in panic.

"I'm a Hybrid. Half werewolf, half vampire." He answered, looking me in the eyes.

I shook my head in denial. "That's not possible?!" I said as I tried to crawl backwards away from him.

I yelped in pain as I tried to get up. My whole body started to ache.

"Easy Love." Klaus said as walkedto me again, and kneeled by my side. He grabbed a hold of my shoulders and looked me deep in the eyes. His pupils dilated.

"Stay calm. I won't hurt you. You're safe." He said softly.

Suddenly my whole body relaxed and I started to breathe slower.

"I can heal you cuts and bruises." Klaus said before he bit into his wrist. I was a bit shocked, but not scared.

He quickly brought his wrist to my mouth.

"Drink this." He said. I nodded and started to ingest his blood.

"That's it." He said softly stroking my hair and supporting my body.

I slowly let his wrist go and looked at my arms who looked completely normal again.

"Thank you." I said almost whispering.
