Chapter 8 - I Like That

Kalen's POV

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"That's my ride." I got up and opened the door to reveal Kia standing in front of me. I called her instead of my driver. I thought Lisa could use some inspiration.

Kia said, "Thanks girls for taking care of Enzo!"

I winked at Lisa. Her face instantly turned red. "Nice one Kalen!" Jisunie whispered and gave me a high five.

After they all greeted Kia, we all said our goodbyes. "Thanks ladies, I like the chaos we brought to each other. We'll see ya'll again!"

Lisa was the first one to give me a hug, Jisunie then Jennie and lastly Rosé, who even hesitated to give me a high five.

As soon as we got in the car, Kia blurted out, "Tell me everything Enzo!"

Kia driving for me means catching up, so she'll ask whatever she wants to know.

Even with the stabbing pain in my head, I tried my best to recall everything that happened.

I started with Lisa, mid story I can already feel Kia's excitement. "Told you she was jealous, she likes you too, and I'm fine having her as my sister in law." I teased. "Shuuut up! I won't believe till I hear it from her. " Yet she couldn't stop blushing.
Then I told her about Jisunie, then Rosé and finally, Jennie. "Are you fucking kidding me?!"
She waits till we get back to the house before she full blown interrogates me.

We walked through the door, and Kia followed to the kitchen.

"So let me get this straight, You're telling me that you genuinely liked Rosé after meeting her, okay fair I already know that, but then, she avoids you after learning that you are Kalen, your guess is maybe because "she thinks that you're a fuck boy?" So then, you spent a whole day trip with Jennie and you were just "unable to resist" how hot she was, so you made out with her?" Emphasizing finger quotations as her brow furrowed.

"You got it right." I snapped my fingers and pointed at her, I grabbed some water and sat at the bar stool.

"So you like Jennie now?" Kia standing in front of me.

"Did you not see her? She's fucking fire." I paused to think. "Not gon lie tho, too drunk to tell." I continued then chugged the bottle of water.

"Yup, that's definitely something a fuck boy would say.
You know you gotta drop these "genuine" feelings for Rosé now right? You just don't fuck with girlfriends bro! Also, what are you planning to do? Just pretend that you forgot about this make out session with Jennie?" She crosses her arms.

"I—
Sure, yeah, forget about Rosé,
she don't want me anyways and hanging out with Jennie is pretty fun too, so, I guess we'll just see what happens."

"I just realized that you have so many friends out here, yet I haven't seen you smile this much in awhile, and I'm happy that you're happy Enzo, Just don't fuck it up I guess?"

"Yeah, definitely something new, and you definitely sounds like the first born, I'm kinda embarrassed honestly" I chuckled.

"Sorry if I'm being too much sometimes but nice catching up tho, I'm flying back to New York tomorrow, gotta get some sleep! Love ya brother!" She reached in for a hug.

"Already? When are you gonna be back?"

"Winter break, but come visit me instead of partying."

"Do you have hot classmates?" I teased, she rolled her eyes and turned to go to her room. "I take back what I said, I don't love you!" Then she slammed the door.
I laughed.

I took a long shower and listened to some relaxing music, god I'm tired!
As soon as I hit the bed, I immediately fell asleep.

I woke up, still with a banging pain in my head, I got up and took some Advil.

It took me a minute to find my phone, I got like a thousand notifications that I didn't bother to check.
It's 11:21 am.

I left my things and my car in Malibu last night, shit! I might come back for it later, but for now, I'll head to my safe space, my music room.
Got a few ideas for a new song.

After working, I decided to reply to Jennie's messages.
