Your p.o.v.

"Y/n wake up!" I heard a faint voice tell me.

"Wake up!" The voice yelled, a bit louder this time.

"That's it! I'm going to eat your food." The voice said, loud and clear.

"I'm up! I'm up! Don't touch my food!!" I yelled.

I heard a laugh.

I look to see Davina laughing at my panicked state.

"Not funny." I told her, blowing hair out of my face.

She still laughed and tried to pull me out of bed.

"Hurry up, or I will go down to the Great Hall and eat your food." She threatened me.

"I'm going, I'm going!" I told her, getting up and getting ready for the day.

She giggled and waited on the bed.

I got out of the lavatory.

Davina was petting my cat.

She saw me and smiled.

We got our stuff and headed to the Great Hall.

"So Transfiguration is first." Davina said, looking at our schedule.

"Sounds good to me." I told her.

I slung my arm around her shoulder and looked at the schedule with her.

Transfiguration, Potions, Study Hall, and  Flying.

"Sweet, only three lessons today." I smiled.

Davina laughed.

We got to the Great Hall, and it was buzzing.

Davina and I sat down.

We started putting food on our plates.

"Hey, y/n." I heard a familiar voice greet me.

I looked up to see Hermione.

I smiled.

"Hey, Hermione!" I greeted her happily, and hugged her.

She was shocked but hugged me back.

"Hermione, Davina. Davina, Hermione." I introduced them.

"Nice to meet you, Hermione. Y/n here has told me so much about you!" Davina said.

Hermione looked shocked.

"Really?" She asked, looking at me.

"Of course! You're my friend!" I exclaimed, then looked down.

"Right?" I asked her.

She smiled.

"Of course, we're friends! Just because you got put in Slytherin doesn't make any difference." She told me.

"Thanks, Hermione." I smiled at her.

She then looked at Davina and me questioningly.

"May I sit with you guys? Harry and Ron aren't there, and I want to get to know you guys better." Hermione said.

"Of course! Davina?" I asked her.

"Yes, please sit." Davina offered Hermione to sit.

"Thank you." Hermione thanked us.

Some Slytherins were bad-mouthing about why a Gryffindor was at the table and to make it worse for them, a muggle-born.

I told Hermione to ignore them.

Davina and I protected her.

She gave us a kind smile.

Soon, we finished eating and got up to go to our first lesson.

Transfiguration.

We made it to class, and we were the first ones there.

Sitting on the desk was a cat.

"Where do you think Professor McGonagall is?" Hermione questioned.

I pointed to the cat.

"I think that is Professor McGonagall." I told her, uncertain.

"What makes you say that?" Davina asked.

"What normal cat sits up straight and just stares at us without trying to sleep?" I asked them.

They nodded their head in agreement.

Just then, the cat jumped off the desk and turned into Professor McGonagall.

"Well spotted, Ms. Snape." She praised me.

"Thank you, Professor." I thanked her.

She smiled at me.

"Since you three are here first, you may sit wherever you like." She informed us.

We decided to sit in the front since that's where Hermione already is.

McGonagall transformed back into a cat and sat on top of her desk.

We looked at the board to see instructions.

Moments later, students started to come into the room.

Everyone started writing notes that were on the board.

"Where's Harry?" I asked the two girls.

"Aww, someone got a crush?" Davina teased.

"No, I just haven't seen him. He's supposed to be here." I told her.

"She's right. Even Ron isn't here." Hermione said.

I rolled my eyes.

Class is about to begin.

Not long after our little chat, two boys came running in out of breath.

"Whew, we made it. Can you imagine the look on McGonagall's face if we were late?" Ronald asked Harry.

McGonagall jumped off the desk and turned into her human form.

The boys looked at her in amazement.

"Woah, that was bloody brilliant!" Ronald exclaimed.

"Thank you for that assessment, Mr. Weasley. Perhaps if I were to transfigure, Mr. Potter and yourself into a pocket watch. That way, one of you might be on time." McGonagall told them.

"We got lost." Harry told her.

"Then perhaps a map? I trust you don't need one to find your seats." She told them.

Harry and Ronald sat down.

I looked at Harry, and he looked at me.

I waved at him, and he waved back.

"Good luck." I mouthed to him.

Then I turned back and started doing the work.

McGonagall gave each one of us a match stick.

She instructed us to turn it into a needle.

It took me a couple of tries, but I managed to do it.

Davina had some trouble while Hermione had none.

"You really are a bright witch." I nudged Hermione.

She smiled at me.

Soon, class ended, and we headed towards the dungeons for Potions.

Can't wait to mess with Dad.
